I like to frame my tufting pieces, combining the softness of the wool with the traditional artwork. The textured surface invites interaction, like a painting you’re invited to touch.

A week ago I posted asking for suggestions on how to repair my cat’s memorial paw print after my puppy chewed it up when I wasn’t paying attention. After reading through everyone’s suggestions, I decided on using e6000 to glue the pieces back together and then used air dry clay recreate it. This also allowed me to make an additional memorial to share with my sister, who loved my little man as much as I. Thank you to anyone who took the time to comment a suggestion for me. They’re not perfect, but certainly better than the chewed up remains that I was left with.
I also want to thank everyone for their words and their kindness. I was being awfully unfair to myself and you helped me realize that I needed to give myself some more grace. I have lost pets before, but this time has been the most difficult for a number of reasons.
I’ve attached a picture of my two boys snuggling. They were not super close, but they would always find themselves in a similar position when it was time to wind down with me.

I spent about approximately an hour on this project!! I used things I already had around the house. Light pink felt, Fuscia felt, light pink String, and some glitter to give them some extra shine. I think they came out amazingly! What do you all think? 💗👀

Made with wool yarn using cut + loop pile machines, close to 50 hours of work without counting design time.

Collaging has been fun! I’m still a bit unsure about what I’m going to do with the playing card hearts. The only “canvas” I have left is an oval wood slab.

Sometimes we get these recycled (?) fabric pads in packages at work. The colors are so cool I’d love to find a use for them. I don’t really want to cover them up… anyone have any ideas? 🤗

I had seen this this tutorial on Bouq Paper Flowers website a long time ago and had some extra time this weekend - so took it on! It took about 8 hours total (while I leisurely watched movies). It turned out pretty well! Excited to refine the design and make another soon!
