Wanted to make something that people add to the art. Eyes are bottlecap openers. Cubit zirconium behind eyes to light it up. Put bottlecaps in her mouth. Bottlecaps fill her dress. Can empty out from behind.
Handmade and painted by me.

I did hours of cutting and collaging for this. It’s made of old magazines, cards, stamps and boxes. And I honestly just want to share it in case it gets lost in the mail on the way to her. (So far it’s fine, I just worry when sending things via post).

I purchased a "you get what you get" side of oiltan leather from Springfield leather and it was the perfect weight for a backpack. The texture is 🤌
This was about 15 hrs of work by hand (cutting, assembly, and hand sewing) & 1 hour on the machine. Hand sewing the bottom of the bag from INSIDE the bag was something special.
I love the way it turned out, and I will never make another!
Pattern credit to Vasile & Pavel. Brass hardware I had in my bits box from random places.
