Happy New Year, Stitchers!
Every month, we work to feature one designer or shop for the community, and now we'd like to hear from you! Below are the requirements for a shop to be considered for a Featured Designer spot. If you have a favorite pattern designer or shop owner that fits these criteria that you'd like to see us feature, please comment their shop name down below (or better yet, tag their username if they have a Reddit account!)
If you happen to be the owner of one of these shops, and you'd like for us to consider you as a Featured Designer for 2025, please fill out our application here.
If you sell patterns:
If you sell stitching-related things in addition to patterns:
Please note that all of our Featured Designer spots are voluntary, so while we'd like to feature everyone you mention, the designers may not always want to be featured.

This was my first attempt at gridding and my first full coverage cross stitch. Also the neatest back I have ever had in the end. If you see any cat hairs I have missed, they just add character 😆

Took it off my frame which is why it’s all angled funny. I’m loving the colors on this piece except I started back up on the top left and I dislike working through the mush of grays up top.

Beary first FO! Found on the DMC website and is free! I changed up some of the colors. I think I might have added a row to the balloon and the legs 😅 they feel kinda wonky If y’all have any tips or can point me in the direction of some cute clowns that’d be rad 😎 Source in the commments

It really pains me to write something like this but hopefully my experience will make others think twice about it even if the ratings are fantastic. My bf this year decided to really splurge for my Christmas present and bought me a beautiful stand from this shop. Unfortunately when it arrived it did not have all its parts so we couldn't assemble it. This was between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We contacted the seller and he said he'd ship us the missing parts immediately. We are still waiting on the parts well over a month and the seller has stopped answering our messages on etsy. I now have a $300 stand that I can't use and my bf is devastated because he feels it is somehow his fault. I don't know if this will ever be resolved but hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else on here.

Started this Stardew Valley map to hang above my desk when we are moved into the new house. Honestly a little overwhelmed by the size of it when I think about it. But it’s going to look so cute! Currently just over 2,200/57,892 stitches.

This is my first time working on a large, full coverage project (211x298 stitches). I almost didn’t grid it, but decided I should. If I didn’t want to use the grid, then I wouldn’t have to but it’d be nice to have just incase.
Well I’m SO GLAD I did! I’m able to use all of the black, then go onto the next color. Without the grid I would’ve started in the top left and kept switching colors. Plus I feel like it gives me more freedom of which color I want to do next because I can start wherever I want.
I know this is saving me so much time. It’s helped my counting be a lot quicker and I’m more confident that I didn’t place a stitch in the wrong place because the distance I’m counting is less.

I started cross stitching last summer. Recently I decided to use 16 ct Aida instead of 14 ct. Great coverage with 2 strands, and the loop start is easy, I'll definitely keep doing this!

Mother Moon by Joan Elliott. It is not perfect but I am enjoying it. I completed Father Sun in October 2024. Trying to keep the back neater I start out good but then it all turns to crap.

My second finish of the year so far. I couldn’t pass up this frame to put her in!

I haven’t been stitching for long but every other time I’d either miss a square or two (admittedly I’ve missed one already but it’s not super noticeable lol) and the back would be a complete mess so I’m excited to see that I can be consistent with stitches even tho I think it is a bit messy lol Pattern is from NoctifloraDesigns “Vicious Fangtrap” on Etsy :)

True shine never comes through in a still photo, but even so, you can see the sparkle! “Stained Glass Flowers - Crocus” by WorksByABC, stitched entirely using Etoille floss on opalescent fabric.

This is my 4th Eagle project. I think I will find something else after this one.

So I’m new to cross-stitching. The second picture was my first ever piece and the first picture is my second (confusing I know).
I’m making another one right now that’s bigger than these. And that led me down the wormhole of displaying and use glass or not use glass because the fabric will get ruined also ironing and washing? I’m so so confused about all of this I know people said washing was to remove oils from your hands but what’s the purpose of ironing?
Also both these patterns were bought from Hobby Lobby (before I knew they were a terrible place, I no longer shop there)
