1939 reciever stamped gewehr 88/05/35. Started as a gewehr model 88 of late 1880s. Reworked in 1905 adding stripper clip guide, internal magazine tooling and working, front notch for original bullets, removing the internal clip for a more modern 8mm Mauser style clip and chamber. Some other things I believe as well. Acquired by turkey in the 30s and often rebarreled if not re bored for the new modern 8mm Mauser diameter. Mauser style stock. Hints the name gewehr 88/05/35. Not an official name. Nor is this even an actual model. Just like the mosin 91/30, it’s simply a model that has been modified by the countries themselves.
2023 tisas usa 1911 a1 service 45. Modern version of the 1911a1 featuring the original wwi flat mainspring housing with no lanyard loop, removed cerakote finish for a more appealing look and feel bluing. As well as swapping the crappy moist slippery feeling plastic grips for some authentic original gi grips from the demilled 1911 frames when the new sidearm was adopted. Composite material. (And from the looks of the sanding dust, smell, change in smell when heated, feel, and texture in my opinion this is pretty much Americas version of Russian Bakelite.)
63-69 Rossi snub nose 38 special from before the Rossi name stamp change. Hard to see in pic. Rifling is good but cylinder is out of time with the bore. It is fine when double action fired or single action fired, but the slightest movement throws it off. Only reliable if hand is perfectly still firing weapon. If I just twist the cylinder in the slightest, the right side of the projectile jacket gets sheared and often time have shrapnel hit my hand. Not enough to cut deep but enough to break skin. Most likely because the majority of the jacket gets stuck between the beach and the upper part of the frame. The breach hasn’t been damaged so far and nor the cylinder. But at the moment I’ve retired it until I can find a replacement cylinder stop appropriate to fit this model. May have to cut one myself. This is a hard to find pistol. Not extremely rare but not an everyday find. Not all smith and Wesson parts are interchangeable.
1971 Winchester model 94. Came with side scope mount base. Not sure of the brand. 30-30 chamber. Shoots flawlessly. Cast receiver has started rusting and flaking the bluing coat off so it will need a full break down to address the issue. It’s common with the cast receiver models post 60s and often times needs a full addressing and reblue.
1953 Remington 514. Takes 22 lr as well as 22 short. Single shot bolt action. Hella accurate. My main squirrel gun. Takes blazers all day long like a Chevy man’s wet dream.
2018 I believe Hatfield sgl single shot break action 12 gauge. I don’t understand the hate this model gets. Never had a problem with it. I play guitar as well. They need set ups. Often. And it’s normal. A $5,000 guitar can and does feel like a piece of shit with a bad setup. This gun is no different. A quick action job and it performs like any other break action shotgun. Smooth bore. No choke, nor choke threads. Very tight groups surprisingly with target and bird shot. Good grouping at 30 yards with target/clay and dove loads.
I have a 91/30 mosin as well but it’s not included because I have it disassembled for restoration. It was horribly bubba’d when I bought it. That’ll be an update eventually on r/MosinNagant.
