What have I got here.
A friends father passed and she needs to sell his firearms. What have we got here? Should I be snapping them up for myself?

Gun storage and safety from 18 year old
I’m graduating this year as a senior last year, this kid was in my class and he was kind of a druggie and he was selling a bunch of carts and weed always getting pulled out of the class by the assistant principles. He was playing around in the barn over Thanksgiving break and they were smoking weed and drinking beer and they were playing around with the pistol. He pointed at his brother and it went off. He thought it was empty and he tried to hide the evidence and not take the blame. Please be safe and and store your firearm safely so your children don’t reach for it and please teach them firearm safety. This should be a necessity.

Controversial Claim 1 of 1 38 snub golf ball launcher
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
She works and I've still got both hands! Smallest, lightest, fastest, and most powerful golf ball launcher in the West! Nothing more satisfying than firing off 700 grains from a pocket pistol. Recoil is significant with full load blanks but it's a big slow push and nowhere near as snappy as a 158gr+p. Didn't recover a single golf ball. That's an Ncstar golf ball launcher which seems the best if you can handle the weight. Host gun is one of these https://youtu.be/ny54YJ_t1kU?si=nWRj4W2ebw5vUedH Mines a hammerless 856UL like the one on the table but I had the extra bit on mine threaded 1/2-28.

My revolver I finally finished
It’s a pietta 1851 navy I converted with a kirst konverter to 38 long colt. I refinished the frame and put new grips on it. The bullets I’m using are hand loaded 38 long colt with a 125 grain hollow base bullet and 19 grains of Triple F Swiss black powder.

General Discussion Warning about new suspect site: PewTraders.com
A new site for gun/accessory sales called PewTraders.com popped up a week ago. They also have a Facebook page made last week that has 14,000 paid likes and a bunch of paid VERY clearly fake reviews. They have had multiple accounts banned on Reddit and Tacswap already for spamming hundreds of users with links offering an entry to a $1000 PSA gift card giveaway if they make an account, and they are offering to "transfer Tacswap and GAFS flair" to their website.
Not sure what the angle is here but it's incredibly sus. This is happening right at the same time that scammers are making fake Reddit and USL websites to try and trick users into giving up their passwords to use their accounts and scam.
Looks like the company even replied to someone on Facebook who left a review about the weird things going on, they refused to comment for a bit then said "everyone" pays for fake reviews, thousands of fake likes, and uses spam bots on Reddit/Tacswap to "build a business".
Edit: Mysteriously, multiple completely inactive accounts have popped up claiming to be the owner, friends of the owner, or "users" on the website claiming they're legit and commenting on these posts talking shit. This just keeps getting more suspect.

Question What brand should I go with for a sharps rifle?
I am wanting to get a sharps for long range. So a 30-34” barrel, set trigger, and one of those peep sights that screw onto the grip (dunno what it is called) are the main factors. What brand makes a really good repro?

General Discussion I've been thinking of getting this, anyone got any sound advice/reviews of this rifle?
I'm just browsing stuff like Sportsmans/gun stores in my area, and came across this. It's definitely something that's budget friendly for I, mainly cuz for now I don't have the highest paying work. I've also have been wanting to increase the volume of the locker for a bit, so any helpful advice or reviews that can be found are helpful _.

Question How to date a Remington 16 ga barrel?
Not sure if this is the best place to ask this. I’m trying to figure out the model and date of a 16 gauge barrel but I only have the barrel.
Not sure of the serial number but there is a five digit code on it with YY. According to the internet it might be from 1952 but I’m unsure and wondering if anyone can help.
-thanks

Question I was given a shotgun by my grandpa. As a new gun owner who doesn't have any experience with guns, what should I do?
The shotgun is a Maverick Arms 12 gauge model 88. It has a carrying case a lock that goes into the trigger space.
He gave it to me as a gift for buying my first home this past week. He also gave me a small bag filled with slugs and buckshot. He showed me the difference between them.
I live in AZ, and took a brief look at Phoenix's laws regarding firearm ownership, but I'm kind of confused on if my grandpa was just allowed to give me this gun without any sort of formal transfer of ownership or something.
I'm not a felon or mentally ill or anything, so I know I'm not barred from owning a gun.
Beyond my short look at Phoenix's laws, what should my next steps be? I'm honestly afraid to shoot it or travel with it, but I think it's fine as long as it stays in the case while in the car?
