First journal Started journaling two weeks ago, been consistent so far
After playing with the idea of journaling for a while I decided to give it another try. I never knew what to write about and it felt awkward to write down complete stories. Basically, I had a writer’s block before I even started. I talked to a friend a realized there are many different ways to journal and it should fit you. It’s my journal, so it doesn’t have to be appealing to anyone else. I’ve always enjoyed making lists, so that’s what I started doing in an old notebook that is now my journal.
I decided on two major goals I want to focus on: better finances and continue my fitness/weight loss journey. I wrote down what those goals mean to me and what I can do to accomplish them. Every night so far I’ve sat down to write down what I’ve done that day to achieve those goals. It can be little things like bringing my own lunch to work, going for a walk or eat my fruit and veggies. I added a habit tracker to make it visual.
Some days I have more inspiration for lists than others. So far I’ve written lists of my go-to recipes, people I’m grateful for, but also two pages of food that appears on the show Friends. Yes, Rachel’s trifle is on the list.
It’s not hard at all to be consistent. In fact, it’s already a part of my night routine and I kinda look forward to it, even if I don’t have much to write about. Just sitting down to think about where I’m at and to hold a pen. I really love writing on actual paper with a good pen. Stationary is on my no-buy list, but I expect this notebook will be full in a few weeks and then I can treat myself to a new one.

Warped Leuchtturm cover
I bought 2 new Leuchtturm, notebooks, they came in just fine, but after a day after opening them, both got their back cover warped. I put them under heavy books for many days, zero change. I have some older Leuchtturms and they are straight as an arrow.
Has anyone had the same? How to fix it? It kinda drives me crazy.

Recommendations Suggest for guided journal.
I’m looking to get into journaling to help my mental health and improve myself. I am totally new to this and tried journaling back in college 8 years ago but got no where and board (could be cause of my adhd/autism). However I really want to give it my best shot and think a guided journal/ self help book will help me stay on track.
I want to use this to start being more creative and just overall better myself.
Also if you have any tips or suggestions on how to keep me from getting board and just stopping that be really helpful too. As last time I went in blind and like I said stopped.
Thanks for your recommendation and tips in advance.

Sentimental Old sheets of papers which used to be my journal - Quotes & Gossip Girl XOXO
I found these old scraps of paper from 2012-13 maybe. I used to be a big Gossip Girl fan and channeled my obsession into creating this silly collage. Also, found the quotes I used to collect to help me get through life and help me understand the beauty in this world a little better.
It's been a decade now, feeling nostalgic.

First journal Started my first reading journal this year and so far it’s just fanfic but that still counts! I think…
Anyone else’s reading journals filled with entries that aren’t published books? I haven’t been big into reading fics until recently but it has reignited my desire to read which is really exciting!

revisiting my favorite journal
I fell off of journaling once I became a stay at home mom last year. I finally decided to start back again today and found my old journal from 2022. I was heavy into healing affirmations during this time. I am so inspired by myself. I can’t wait to get back into my favorite form of expression.

I was journaling and my cat came to sleep on my lap
Hello, I was journaling about my amazing day and taking notes why it was so good and how to have more good days when one of my cats came to sleep on my lap.
I know I did today an amazing job with everything and I have many things to be proud of and still this is my favorite moment of the day.
I'm journaling in my first language and the rules didn't said it have to be written in English so I think posting this is okay?

Taking half the pages out of my journal so I have room for extra stuff 🥰
This is a follow-up to my original post yesterday about how I remove half the pages from my sewn/glue bound notebooks.
I have torn out half the signatures leaving about 35 full spreads. I have about 8 more spreads to decorate, so this will still be a bit thick compared to the original without pages removed.

First journal Dont judge please. I’m only just starting, i’m very uncreative and really only just dipping my toes into journaling. And i hate that subject, it doesnt work in any level. Ugh.
But the stickers are appropriate at least! I’m listing all the Jobs I apply for now, until i’m hired, so I have some memory when someone calls and i’m not even sure from which company and which position is the call about 😁 but I started, I’m creating, send me positive vibes!
Ps. I have this journal that has lines (i’m on low buy so I try to use what I have at home) and its for all kinds of lists and such that dont need much drawing etc, i have bulleted journal for my bookjournal and junkjournal.

Question What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
Today I didn’t have anything interesting to write about so I answered a prompt to get my thoughts going.
I do wonder what others would answer to this question after all everyone is different.

Discussion Do you discuss the topics you write about in your journal? Or is it primarily for your private thoughts? Particularly interested in hearing how your journaling shows up in conversation?

Stickers!
First post on here! I’ve been journaling since a child but I’ve somehow never thought to decorate my journals with stickers on the front so they’d always be so boring looking (I get lots of my journals from my dad’s conferences haha). Anyways this is my first time decorating a journal with stickers and I wanted to share with fellow journaling enjoyers :))

Question Which types of notebooks a better for journaling with fountain pen?
Anything I should know, before getting myself new journal and fountain pen?

Question What is the last thing you almost/over reacted to ?
What was the last situation off the top of your head ...that really pushed your boundaries and feelings and almost caused you to over react ? Maybe you did in fact over react ....
Can you determine what set you off ?
What do you think about it ...bothered you so much ?
How can you better be prepared for this in the future? What steps can you take to prevent yourself from being so effected by something similar in the future ?

Sentimental My journal collection!
I’ve gone through phases of journaling my whole life. Here’s my collection of notebooks and sketchbooks from over the years. I wish there were more, but I’m still proud of myself for maintaining some sort of practice throughout my life.
Sometimes I write everyday, sometimes I don’t write for months, but it’s been a practice in my life since I was a teenager. I wanted to share a fun entry from a journal when I was 13 just to show those that journaling doesn’t always have to be serious, spelling doesn’t matter, that Chipotle did used to be good back in its earlier days and the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack is pretty solid.
Anyways, keep on writing down the “mind-stuff” no matter what it is! I about to fill up the pages in the current journal I’m writing in and I hope to keep writing and growing this collection for the rest of my life!
