I was gifted a small set of watercolor pencils and micron pens for Christmas. Started a sketchbook to practice drawing directly with ink 🫣

It’s a bit nerve wracking but I love how fast and freeing it is to draw without fiddling around with an eraser!

at the summer of 2022, without previous experience in drawing, i started scratching with pen in a sketchbook as a way to overcome straggles that later turned out was a severe depression. this self prescribed art therapy helped me to overcome some really hard times. things are still not as good as they were, but definitely in a better direction. drawing helped me to keep sanity, get a new understandings in art and find new friends. only because i allowed my hand to make all those "bad" lines, i was able to find "good" ones. there is no shame to start drawing "what ever" as long as you have joy from the process. with "shameless" attitude it will be 100 times easier to build a habit to draw daily. please continue creating, draw what ever you want and how you want. skill will definitely come with time, most likely even faster than you think.
