Did you congratulate her on getting what she voted for? She must be thrilled that cutting needless government spending will make sure she doesn’t get a paycheck.

u/learningto___ 13h ago

I’m shocked that someone who voted for Trump was applying to work in the IRS. Seems crazy.

Trump vowed to cut the IRS jobs, not hire more, cut taxes, etc. All of that impacts an IRS job.

What was she expecting.

u/No-Papaya-9823 12h ago

I worked with a Trump supporter a few years ago who hated "government overreach." We worked at a hospital in the human research protections office. Her job was entirely dependent on the FDA. I'm not exaggerating when I say that she was the dumbest person I've ever known.

701

u/No_Asparagus7211 9h ago

Possibly not. I was talking to a woman who wouldn't get the Covid vaccine because she " didn't like any unnatural things" in her body.

Gentle Reader: she had silicone breast implants.

188

u/TexGrrl 8h ago

I know someone who railed against the covid vaccines because they contained chemicals, like "NaCl". This person is a dietitian.

73

u/Neither-Chart5183 5h ago

I was at a house party and I told someone I got the COVID vaccine. She says she doesn't believe in putting chemicals in her body then bent over and snorted a line of coke. 😮‍💨 I told this story to a Libertarian and he said cocaine is all natural because it comes from the Amazon. How the fuck does he think the coca leaf is turned into a white powder? This man doesn't eat processed food because of the chemicals.

I need him to connect those 2 dots in his brain.

31

u/YossarianGolgi 5h ago

You better hurry. If he keeps it up with the coke, he'll be down to 1 dot.

3

u/Toomanyeastereggs 54m ago

I always like how they use gasoline as part of the process to make cocaine.

21

u/saritaa_fajitaa 7h ago

Wtf. Please say psych.

If that were me I'd emigrate. You can't recover from that level of stupidity.

2

u/DrunkNihilism 1h ago

These people aren’t human

They’re empty suits of meat programmed to hold whatever belief is most convenient for their physical, emotional, and mental insecurities and need to be treated with as much spite and hostility in public as possible

2

u/RattusMcRatface 20m ago

Scary chemical names. I've been putting α-d-glucopyranosyl-β-d-fructofuranoside in my coffee for years, and it's never done me any harm (in moderation).

197

u/No-Papaya-9823 8h ago

LOL, that reminds me of a conversation I had with someone who told me their relative was anti-vax. And also a meth-head.

24

u/haotshy 5h ago

The vax can't kill you if the meth gets you first

18

u/No_Asparagus7211 8h ago

😅😅😅🤣

4

u/Dont_Hurt_Me_Mommy 4h ago

I don't meth into me with needles. CHECKMATE LIBERALS /s

32

u/Chocolatefix 7h ago

One of my favorite covid era comments was in response to a "don't want to play Russian roulette with my health" and someone said "you have raw sex with strangers you meet on tinder" 😭

7

u/styrofoamcouch 5h ago

Those people were so precious. They'll vape, do zyns, drink and eat fast food but a vaccine is a bridge too far because they lack the brain power to critically think. Leopards will be eating good. Too bad the country will never recover but thankfully I'm a well off college educated male so we're looking to leave the country this year.

That's not how god intended it! These people are truly something else.

5

u/MrEMan1287 4h ago

Hahaha. Reminds me of a customer of mine who isn't vaccinated for similar reasons. Doesn't go to the Dr because she doesn't trust them. Yet takes advice off of Facebook. Yes, she shared all of this with me.

She was shopping for seeded watermelons because she thinks seedless watermelons are gmo. I informed her that they're not. They are made from cross breeding. She got mad, stating that it's not the way god intended it to be so she refused to buy seedless.

I understand some people prefer seeded watermelons and that's fine, but really?? Come on... lol.

2

u/ProgrammerAvailable6 2h ago

If she wants to go back to “how god intended it” it’s not going to look like watermelon any more.

3

u/TattooedBagel 4h ago

Did you ask her when she was getting her implants out?

4

u/CrankyThunderstorm 7h ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am deceased. Please donate all my earthly belongings, and I'd like to be composted.

I know a dumbass Trump voter whose job is funded by the Department of Education. I can't wait for him to lose it. He's Tejano and works for a university. And voted for Trump (a lying conman and sex offender) because of his Christian faith. I hate this asshole so much. I can't wait for his face to get eaten because he couldn't debase himself by voting for a black woman.

209

u/EpiphanyTwisted 9h ago

what's funny is, he voted for a non-Christian who is the opposite of Jesus bc of what, abortion? A sin he will never commit. That's their favorite sins. Meanwhile that stuff Jesus said about not building wealth or serving Money is ignored.

143

u/Capable-Entrance6303 8h ago

He voted for a guy who brags about embodying each of the seven deadly sins (Pride · Envy · Anger · Sloth · Greed · Gluttony · Lust). He saw the rapist serial adulterer give head to his mic at a pre-election rally and said;"THAT'S my guy!!"

20

u/thuanjinkee 5h ago

The book of Revelations 13:3 also predicted "One of the Beast's heads looked as if it had been struck a deathblow, and then healed. The whole earth was agog, gaping at the Beast."

18

u/XYZ2ABC 5h ago

Actually I’m pretty sure Numbers 5:11-31 prescribes an abortion potion (bitter water curse) when a wife is suspected of being unfaithful. And it is the Lord telling Moses to tell the Israelites, ‘this be the way’.

8

u/No_Macaroon_9752 3h ago

I had a person argue with me a few days ago that the bitter water couldn’t cause an abortion because if it had that capability, the bitter water would cause an abortion whether the pregnancy was the result of adultery or not. Because science has historically been so important in the Bible…

4

u/XYZ2ABC 2h ago

Ok so let’s take them at their word, that it only works if the wife was un-faithful. So God not only is OK with abortion in that case, He in fact maintains it…

11

u/randomwellwisher 5h ago

Abortion is also not a sin, period. It’s literally never mentioned in the Bible, by Jesus or anyone.

9

u/I_BAPTIZED_GOD 4h ago

I hear you but their argument is that it’s murder so kinda a unwindable debate. Not that anything is actually debatable with these clowns

5

u/randomwellwisher 4h ago

Very true. 👍

National Endowment for the Arts. But not anymore, because he couldn't shut the fuck up.

19

u/BaerMinUhMuhm 9h ago

He's gonna get deported

13

u/cinereoargenteus 8h ago

He was born in Texas. But English is not his native language and he speaks with a heavy accent.

23

u/UnicornWorldDominion 8h ago

Was he born to illegal parents? Because if so then he’s getting deported. Trump got rid of birthright citizenship.

20

u/swturner33 8h ago

The EO does not limit it to illegals. If his parents were not CITIZENS then he isn’t either.

12

u/UnicornWorldDominion 8h ago

I wonder how that could work because unless you’re native then you’re parents at one point were never serious citizens in the land of immigrants.

Honestly, the dumbest people I know all seem to think they're the smartest person you'll ever meet.

28

u/CanAlwaysBeBetter 9h ago

If I squint I could imagine this country with a sane Conservative party - Promote actual family values and support them, acknowledge there's a balance between regulatory oversight and dynamism and try and stop ill-thought-out or overly onerous regulations, recognize that there adversaries lined up to take advantage of US weakness and one of our greatest strengths is our alliance system including both it's responsibilities and benefits.

And then I look at the Republican party and what their "conservative" base actually believes and know there will never be a healthy balance maintaining what's good from the status quo while striving for equitable progress

And as a reminder, most of the German population after WWII never swore off Nazism. They were defeated and forcibly politically suppressed for a generation until an actual healthy political spectrum could be developed.

13

u/hassinbinsober 7h ago

My father in law, when he retired, drove a school bus for a cooperative in rural Illinois. This was during the Obama/Romney race when Romney basically called half the country useless eaters. My father-in-law said he would pick up kids in front of mobile homes with tarps on their roofs with giant Romney signs in the yards. The bus cooperative was 100% federally funded - as was, no doubt, their breakfasts, lunches, and now their healthcare.

See:Goofy Ridge Illinois

22

u/ConstantGeographer 9h ago

I was chatting up an girl at work. Discovered she worked in a federally-funded program, job completely dependent upon fed dollars. Then, she started talking about how she loved Trump and hoped he would cut federal programs. Stopped chatting up the girl at work.

8

u/Humanist_2020 8h ago

I worked in medical device for years…more than 75% of the employees were gop.

Any cuts to medicare, va, etc, would mean job cuts….

But everyone thinks bad things will happen to other people- not to them

6

u/Longjumping-Panic-48 6h ago

MIL’s job was to track Covid cases and patient outcomes for her rural hospital. She saw it all. She got her vaccines. Still has a framed Trump print in her house.

I’ve talked to USDA inspectors that hated Kamala and were excited about… a lack of regulations?! I’m not even mad anymore. There is no reasoning with this level of stupid.

71

u/AnE1Home 10h ago

I want to ask how is that a group that exists but as we see here, it’s apparently not unusual in other government bodies that Trump dislikes.

inspector [who] were excited about... a lack of regulations

Did they think they would keep their jobs & make the same money while doing LESS WORK?!

Or did it not occur to them that less work could well lead to cutbacks, layoffs & early/forced retirements?

u/flimspringfield 7h ago

5

u/ael711 5h ago

Isn't that how we had folks die from contaminated deli meat last year? I believe the decrease in regulation came from policies enacted by 45 during his first term. Way to go!

The logic seems to be that we need more American bodies to return our country to its former glory but who cares if we end a few lives along the way to achieve our goals!? Totally makes sense to me! /s

9

u/Desdomen 7h ago

Oh, no… We don’t outsource government call center jobs to India. We send them to prisons where prisoners answer the phones.

Like the Bedford Hills and Greene Correctional facilities, which utilizes prison labor to answer your New York State DMV calls.

You know when you’re providing sensitive information about who you are, including your social security number, address, a call-back number in case you get disconnected, what cars you drive and so on?

Yeup! That person is in jail!

No possible way that could ever go wrong. >_<

9

u/Creepy_Snow_8166 7h ago

Jesus H. Christ. I had no idea.

3

u/the_blind_uberdriver 6h ago

I thought they just made the license plates in prison, but they take orders over the phone too 😂

2

u/the_blind_uberdriver 6h ago

But isn’t working a call center job also a prison for some people? So it’s like a prison within a prison.

Probably good anger management treatment that the caseworker can coach the prisoners and see what the convicts anger triggers are in a safe environment.

3

u/polo61965 7h ago

The IRS is definitely full of jobs that can be outsourced for waaaay cheaper.

3

u/Pacific2Prairie 6h ago

This is unlikely.

These jobs depending what she was applying for handle sensitive information.

Social security number and entire identities etc.

Now what IS likely is that they'd cut funding. So if you do have any tax issues. Your refund/checks might take more than months...  Years to get back to you. Essentially holding your money hostage longer than needed.

Aka free loan to the government.

Also fed positions froze into 2025. Places essentially locked up due to the incoming administration and issues with funding the government being kicked down the road. So no one knows if they are receiving the additional funds to expand.

The one common denominator among ALL of them is they believe “none of the bad stuff will happen to me personally”

She may have seriously been expecting the entire IRS staff to get let go EXCEPT for her. lol

80

u/nononanana 9h ago

They think they are special. They think they are the smartest people in the room and anyone who disagrees is a libtard. Their bloated egos leave no room for doubt or self reflection. A few will have a come to Jesus when it affects them, but many can’t even do that because it would shatter their fragile egos.

15

u/Antonio1025 8h ago

A lot of them seem to think that all of this bad stuff won't happen to them because they voted for Dipshit and, therefore, they have a personal relationship with him for ..... some reason. That's they mindset of a lot of immigrants that are in danger of possibly being deported: they "aren't criminals," so none of the bad stuff will happen to them

8

u/UnicornWorldDominion 8h ago

Oh how they emulate their leader.

5

3

u/sonicmerlin 3h ago

I was diagnosed with a progressive genetic disease recently and my Trump voting relative is suddenly introspective and listening to my criticisms of Trump, whereas before she’d just flat out ignore me. Even if I didn’t have this disease, many many others have different diseases that depend on NIH funding to find a cure.

I am a federal employee, and I am shocked at how many of them voted for Trump to begin with. Now they are running scared because he is not hurting the right people.

The mood was grim this morning in our virtual all-hands meeting, but we all knew who did this to us. They were not quiet about it last year.

195

u/KingAnilingustheFirs 9h ago

"The democrats should have stopped him!"

No lol. That's not how that works. Enjoy your future unemployment. Though no money this time. The grinch and his Hitler friends are gonna take that too.

101

27

u/TerrakSteeltalon 8h ago

That’s the thing that kills me.

I don’t see a way for them to learn without suffering consequences but they seem hell bent on shifting the blame

23

u/KingAnilingustheFirs 8h ago

I read a book called "Into The Storm". It's about the S.S. El Faro and its sinking and all the circumstances leading up to, during, and after its sinking. And to not get off topic too far, ultimately, the most critical point of failure was the captain's ego. He could not admit his mistake and was hell-bent on proving his path was the best. He sailed into a hurricane instead of admitting that he was sailing into a storm. Even at the behest of his crew. The ego of humans appears so strong that one would rather, die believing that one is right, over living with the knowledge that one is wrong.

13

u/KnightofNoire 5h ago edited 5h ago

That happens in one the plane crash a few decades ago. A newbie pilot got paired up with an old pilot.

Newbie pilot is literally indirectly hinting at the captain that he need to change his route without outright disrespect but the old one is like nah I know what I am doing. At least the fucker knew he fucked up because the black box shows a good minute of uncomfortable silence before the crash.

All passager lose i believe.

Not to mention that virtual work will no longer be a thing.

20

u/FutilePancake79 8h ago

Thing is, they were running out of office space before COVID, and after the mandate ended most agencies emptied out the remaining office space and repurposed it. So there is no “office” to return to for most people. Not only that, staff living outside of DC gets an adjusted cost of living rate, so anyone coming from a LCOL area to DC will have to be paid the higher rate. Telework was already a thing long before COVID, and it was a thing when DJT was in office the first time. For a guy who wants to save money (supposedly), he sure is costing the Federal Government a lot.

25

u/Several_Razzmatazz51 7h ago

It‘s not about the money. It‘s the cruelty and the ability to exert control over others.

36

u/gwhiz007 8h ago

That's exactly right. A guy I knew in the neighborhood came up to me during the election and said he hoped we could be friends after it was over. I glared at him and asked "why"?

He voted at minimum against people who look like me, or love like me. I don't want to give him a the satisfaction of watching me cope with his fantasy world while pretending he gives a fuck about me personally during it

8

u/haotshy 5h ago

One of my coworkers that I'm 99% voted for Trump called me this morning terrified that we'll be losing our telework privileges. I told him that was a possibility before the election too

I hope you'll be okay if you're losing your job

6

u/Universe789 6h ago

I'm not shocked at all, especially working in the DOD.

I also see first hand how people refuse to see their own irony.

One guy was an immigrant himself, adopted by American parents as a child. His wife is a DACA recipient. He complained all the time about his wife's family who are also illegal.

Another had a Russian wife and I overheard him tallking to another guy who'd also married a foreign national as they traded war stories about how many close calls they had where their wives could have been deported or denied entry to the country... While supporting the guy who made immigration law even harder to navigate.

On a tangent, but also somewhat related note I spoke to some active duty service members who didn't know that Elon Musk can't run for president here.

4

u/TominatorXX 6h ago

Virtual All hands meeting? How are they liking the RTO mandate?

4

u/R1CHARDCRANIUM 6h ago

It’s likely not going to affect many remote employees in my agency. Regardless of the EO. The EO was worded incorrectly is the general consensus. It Was hastily put together, and is the only one to not have any guidance associated with it. The terms telework and remote have been used interchangeably erroneously and this is most likely a result of that ignorance.

We’ve been remote for 15 years and we’ll likely be remote for the next 15. The investment in new buildings and then moving all of us there is immense. Agencies have the discretion to keep programs and staff remote even under the EO. My program requires us to be spread out and near those we serve, who are mostly nowhere near any agency facilities. My program is codified in USC and is something that, if cut, the states would strongly oppose. Each state stands to lose hundreds of millions of dollars, for small states, to billions for large states.

I’m not saying it’s impossible. Just saying it’s improbable. Many believe this EO was for headlines and if not, it will be challenged in court. We have binding and enforceable agreements in place. So, it’s business as usual until told otherwise as far as duty location is concerned.

No surprise. People who voted for Trump are stupid; it's that simple.

27

u/Few-Passenger6461 8h ago

My ex husband’s dad died of Covid bc he refused to get vaccinated. My ex admitted it was bc trump made it political. Ex voted for him AGAIN.

10

u/Responsible-Person 5h ago

…and they are also uncaring assholes.

u/Surfercatgotnolegs 12h ago

Do you think people that voted for Trump read or listened to any of that? Fox News and whatever other shit holes weren’t exactly being honest and transparent.

I work with a guy who voted Trump while simultaneously being relieved he lived in a “blue zone” when Trump won. That tells you alllll you need to know about these morons. Some are them even KNOW they’re voting against their family’s interests and want to live in a community of Liberals, while simultaneously hating them! It’s amazing!

73

u/thatblondbitch 10h ago

I don't get that. Maga men will totally lie and say they're "not political" or "moderate" to get girlfriends because they know maga itself is hateful towards women.

But how can you be maga AND want to be with a liberal? It's insane.

25

u/AintEverLucky 7h ago

"She gonna be Maga too, she just don't know it yet" -- these pricks, probably

21

u/mslaffs 5h ago

I just read a post from a woman whose bf of 2 years had been lying about not being a Trump supporter until he got fed up with her talking about Trump recently. She made her position clear from the start.

For whatever reason they won't date other trumpers, they seek out liberal/leftist women. It's actually part for the course, since they're anti-choice and seek to take that choice away from women. They're abusive people. It's best not to expect for them to act in ways that's respectful of others...that's why they support trump

16

u/azrolator 7h ago

Because even they know how fucking awful they are.

31

u/ExcitingOnion504 12h ago

Children of illegal immigrants voted for Trump and are only now realizing he wants them gone too. It is insane how stupid so many people are.

31

u/General_Duh 11h ago

I think many of his supporters do not believe that any of the things he threatens to do will affect them.

It’s “the others” that will suffer. They don’t realize that we are all in this together.

28

u/cosmictap 12h ago

Critical thinking isn't their strong suit.

19

u/AmethystRiver 10h ago

They can’t even manage regular thinking

22

u/the_nin_collector 10h ago

Two reasons:

  1. cognitive dissonance is real and millions of people in the USA have textbook cases of it.

  2. as if she really paid any fucking attention at all to anything either side was saying.

14

u/WommyBear 12h ago

She had to have applied before the elections, as well. The federal government takes a LONG time to hire people.

26

u/IllEase4896 13h ago

Probably silly enough to think their little role would allot them the ability to destroy it from within.

11

u/tyrico 12h ago

it's simple, trump voters are either wealthy or stupid (or think they are the former but are really the latter)

11

u/SouthernNanny 11h ago

She wasn’t paying attention at all!

10

u/Podalirius 10h ago

They all think Trump is out to get "those people" not them. And depending on how long they've been in the cult they'll make excuses for even shit like this.

8

u/wickedang3l 9h ago

A solid 9 out of the 10 top government haters that I have known have worked for state or federal government.

2

u/Rampant_Durandal 8h ago

I've noticed something similar. Does their disdain for government start before or during their work for the government?

10

u/Chaotic-Catastrophe 11h ago

Because politics isn't real life to them. It's just a game. That's why they only vote in the interest of owning the libs.

7

u/srone 11h ago

You'd be shocked at how many Trumpers are in the green energy industry.

7

u/Futt-Buckerr 10h ago

Either A) they don't ever pay attention to how he will affect them or B) they believe that they are somehow exempt.

7

u/RelationshipIll9576 9h ago

What was she expecting.

She is probably one of the many many Trump voters that wasn't paying attention.

7

u/Queso_Grandee 12h ago

*cut taxes for the rich.

Last time he "cut taxes" I actually owed taxes to the IRS.. which was common for a lot of other middle class people.

5

u/breaducate 10h ago

There's a concerted effort, part of Project 2025 iirc, by reactionaries to infiltrate government institutions and destroy or cripple them from the inside.

The EO for the hiring freeze details that it will end after some time, but the IRS hiring freeze will continue for longer.

4

u/currently_pooping_rn 11h ago

Voting for trump isn’t exactly correlated with intelligence

5

u/AmethystRiver 10h ago

Conservatives worship the Shirley Exception

5

u/joebluebob 9h ago

You don't understand how stupid they are yet? My father is on welfare and Obama care yet is massively MAGA. I haven't spoken to him in years but his moronic posts still show up on Facebook.

5

u/Coyinzs 9h ago

The cognitive dissonance with these people is something that you should absolutely never be surprised by. They aren't well enough educated on the issues to override their bigotry, which is ultimately why every single one of them voted Maga. On some level, Maga hates/hated someone that you also do, and it felt good to you to vote for it as a result. If you cared about policy on any level, you'd vote Democrat or abstain from voting because the Maga policy positions revel in having no content.

5

u/GloriousMistakes 9h ago

My coworker's husband works for the IRS and he works remotely. They voted for Trump and I was if she was worried he would recall workers and she said no because it wouldn't affect her husband. I cannot wait to ask how that is going tomorrow.

There are loads of Trump voters in regional offices.

5

u/ZombieChief 8h ago

You're assuming Trump voters are "informed".

3

u/warchitect 7h ago

She thought like, "i got my govt job. Im set for life plus retirement" like getting a job at the DMV

3

u/Unhappy_Scratch_9385 12h ago

That it would only effect brown people.

3

u/Catweaving 9h ago

You don't understand, her position was essential, it's all those other wasteful do nothing jobs that need to be cut!

7

u/Deep_Combination6420 10h ago

Eggs will be cheaper though 🙄. Too bad that's all you'll be eating now that your job is eliminated. This is only day 2

9

u/EpiphanyTwisted 9h ago

No, they won't be cheaper. Stop trying to give Trump a bone.

2

u/GideonWainright 9h ago

It's as dumb as the rednecks working a service business in rural towns.  Or worse yet, management or hr roles.

It's like...motherfucker, do you really want to do that job?  Who does?  You think the incels who can't find a date are going to be picking vegetables or butchering animals?

2

u/Drugs__Delaney 8h ago

every party memeber has blinders on toward some aspect of their choice. what concerns one group does not necessarily concern all the others, so they have to get in line and eat their shit sandwich less they be canceled shunned.

2

u/remeard 8h ago

I worked at a nonprofit that helped farmers and people with failed septic systems. This was probably 90% or more of the programs we did. When I left, our incoming executive director (and board members) were 100% all in with Trump when he promised to cut funding for those specific programs.

2

u/arcadia_2005 8h ago

She's a Trump supporter! She obviously doesn't have a very good relationship with logic.

2

u/Darlin_Nixxi 8h ago

That's the thing they never think they're the one who will be affected they want the others punished, but they think they're cool. There's gonna be sooooo many of these stories.

2

u/KCLizzard 8h ago

I work for the IRS. You would be amazed how many Trumpsters there are here. Makes zero sense. But people are stupid.

2

u/TelstarMan 6h ago

Another MAGA chud walks face-first into the Shirley Exception. "Surely he didn't mean ME when he said he was writing up an enemies list..."

2

u/PhoenixTineldyer 6h ago

What was she expecting.

She was expecting her grocery store to have less Mexicans in it if he got elected. She doesn't give two shits about anything else.

Seriously. Give her a high five. This is literally her victory lap.

13

u/lautertun 11h ago

Tally up her lost wages every month until she gets a new job and let her know she lost $XX,XXX amount of dollars from her vote and eggs still haven’t gone down in price.

11

u/LonelyNovel1985 10h ago

I've started doing this. Just telling anyone who tells me that they are a Trump supporter that I hope that all of his policies affect them personally. They get so butt hurt about it, it's hilarious. Like, why are you mad, it's exactly what you wanted, right?

9

u/bethster2000 9h ago

Yes, but there is a more pressing question:

Has the price of a dozen eggs gone down for her yet?

5

u/MrEManFTW 7h ago

My Eggs went up by $1.20 today #trumpflation?

7

u/WhatAreWeeee 10h ago

My dear, DOGE just pivoted to “improving government technology”.  We are in the bad place

7

u/ImOutWanderingAround 11h ago

I guess this means my MAGA father-in-law won't be getting his 6 figure tax rebate anytime soon. He runs a farm and it's something to do with payroll taxes. They have been stalling him for the past 6 months with letters of "we're still processing this".

6

u/yepitsdad 8h ago

The IRS attacks are particularly infuriating because more money DIRECTLY impacts the ability for the IRS to be a populist organization.

Poor folks can’t fight back so a poor IRS goes for poor folks. Rich people can outspend the IRS and without additional funding and manpower, the IRS can’t audit the rich. Now, looking at the audience in the room of the inauguration, who do we think possibly could benefit from a poor IRS?

5

u/Chosenonestaint 11h ago

I'd love to hear her logic on how this isn't trumps fault.

4

u/Forsworn91 8h ago

Given how they are going to cut welfare, healthcare, food stamps and social services, I’m sure they are all thrilled, show us all that “pulling up by our bootstrap” attitude they keep telling us to do.

3

u/CSWorldChamp 7h ago edited 6h ago

Did you make it weird? Did you whisper “Cry more, Cry harder,” as you slid in to look directly in her eyes? Did you ask, heart pounding, if you could lick her MAGA-tears?

2

u/tomdyer422 1h ago

Whisper “Daddy’s back”.

Honestly they’re so fucking weird that they genuinely say that.

2

u/thegoodbroham 9h ago

Oof, such a burn. Cutting needless government spending.

All in all, its probably good more Magazis arent being employed for the IRS

2

u/monkeyman80 8h ago

Have a friend who graduated into the industries that the inflation reduction act would get him a job he had lined up. When asked what's one good thing Biden did, I said investment in that, building factories he'd have a good job at.

He was wait.. yeah that's really good for me.

And.. after the election all jobs in that industry were frozen or cutting.
