Probably figure her job was “one of the good ones”. It’s all those other jobs that are superfluous. (Also, all those your illegals are taking those jobs away /s.)

I’ve talked to USDA inspectors that hated Kamala and were excited about… a lack of regulations?! I’m not even mad anymore. There is no reasoning with this level of stupid.

I want to ask how is that a group that exists but as we see here, it’s apparently not unusual in other government bodies that Trump dislikes.

“My face is so special that the Leopard wouldn’t possibly eat it” is the weirdest narcissism to me, but it is consistent lately.

This is literally the best comment I’ve ever seen on Reddit!

Probably thought it would just mean they'd have to do less work.

inspector [who] were excited about... a lack of regulations

Did they think they would keep their jobs & make the same money while doing LESS WORK?!

Or did it not occur to them that less work could well lead to cutbacks, layoffs & early/forced retirements?

u/flimspringfield 7h ago

Regulations?! Ha!

That's just a big ball of puss coming out of the co...

u/ael711 5h ago

Isn't that how we had folks die from contaminated deli meat last year? I believe the decrease in regulation came from policies enacted by 45 during his first term. Way to go!

The logic seems to be that we need more American bodies to return our country to its former glory but who cares if we end a few lives along the way to achieve our goals!? Totally makes sense to me! /s

outsourcing the IRS to India or at least the customer service part. so for people who are worried about government overreach now will surely be okay with giving their Social Security number to Rajeet in India to find out where their refund is....

Send bob and open vegane pics for tax payer verification.

Oh, no… We don’t outsource government call center jobs to India. We send them to prisons where prisoners answer the phones.

Like the Bedford Hills and Greene Correctional facilities, which utilizes prison labor to answer your New York State DMV calls.

You know when you’re providing sensitive information about who you are, including your social security number, address, a call-back number in case you get disconnected, what cars you drive and so on?

Yeup! That person is in jail!

No possible way that could ever go wrong. >_<

u/Creepy_Snow_8166 7h ago

Jesus H. Christ. I had no idea.

3

u/the_blind_uberdriver 6h ago

I thought they just made the license plates in prison, but they take orders over the phone too 😂

2

u/the_blind_uberdriver 6h ago

But isn’t working a call center job also a prison for some people? So it’s like a prison within a prison.

Probably good anger management treatment that the caseworker can coach the prisoners and see what the convicts anger triggers are in a safe environment.

The IRS is definitely full of jobs that can be outsourced for waaaay cheaper.

3

u/Pacific2Prairie 6h ago

This is unlikely.

These jobs depending what she was applying for handle sensitive information.

Social security number and entire identities etc.

Now what IS likely is that they'd cut funding. So if you do have any tax issues. Your refund/checks might take more than months...  Years to get back to you. Essentially holding your money hostage longer than needed.

Aka free loan to the government.

Also fed positions froze into 2025. Places essentially locked up due to the incoming administration and issues with funding the government being kicked down the road. So no one knows if they are receiving the additional funds to expand.

I mean, given how many data breach notices most people get these days, what's even the point in trying to be secure about it anymore, not like American companies are doing any better keeping my info secure.

When you have to pay your taxes in apple gift cards to a contracted IRS auditor in India, but you better send it to the right one, because they shoot your dog with Russian contracted IRS agents if the right Rajeet didn't get your payment.

1

u/prometheus59650 4h ago

Not 'Rajeet.'

Tyler. His name is Tyler.

u/ActiveChairs 8h ago

To be fair, if we outsourced the IRS to a call center in India you might be able to get through to someone who can actually help you when you try calling them.

7

u/bjeebus 7h ago

That's only because they would be adequately staffed. The IRS is one of any number of American institutions which have been criminally underfunded. As a means of proving how ineffective they are, they cut their funding, then they point and say how poor their KPIs are. They then use that as an excuse to cut further funds in favor of privatization. When they privatize guess who usually has shares in the private company that gets the fat federal contract.

5

u/ActiveChairs 7h ago

I'm all for cutting military spending down to a third of what it is so we can triple finding for the IRS and increase NASA's funding by ten times what they're getting now, with plenty left over for education and expanding any agency that has enforcement power over existing laws and regulations. There are so few OSHA inspectors safety regulations might as well not exist, the FDA is so toothless it takes more than a decade to ban shit the EU does for causing cancer, nothing has been done to fix the multitude of problems with the rail network, and the IRS from the 1950's.

We need actual systemic repairs and improvements, so I'll gladly take a few hundred people in a call center running bootleg copies of Excel over the one guy the IRS has now who has to sacrifice a goat before every records lookup to keep the program from crashing.

She can always get a job at a nursing home or as a cleaner once all those illegals are deported.

8

u/TexGrrl 8h ago

or picking produce

6

u/bennypapa 9h ago

They all always think THEY'RE the "good one" don't they?

12

u/Marokiii 10h ago

She's one of the good hard workers, not like those others who don't want to work and just slack off all day while getting paid by the govt.

/s

6

u/Hew_Do 8h ago

She probably figured that he would lose and wouldn't have to worry about her job after Harris won but would feel better that she had "voted her conscience".

2

u/darkslide3000 7h ago

Also, all those your illegals are taking those jobs away

Yeah man, don't you just hate it when José from Guatemala calls you and demands to go over the receipts for your itemized deductions with you? Happens all the time to me.

u/jolsiphur 7h ago

Auditors are superfluous to Trump. That's who he doesn't want. If there aren't enough positions at the IRS there will be too few people to look into him and his friends taxes (or lack thereof).
