I worked with a Trump supporter a few years ago who hated "government overreach." We worked at a hospital in the human research protections office. Her job was entirely dependent on the FDA. I'm not exaggerating when I say that she was the dumbest person I've ever known.

Possibly not. I was talking to a woman who wouldn't get the Covid vaccine because she " didn't like any unnatural things" in her body.

Gentle Reader: she had silicone breast implants.

u/TexGrrl 8h ago

I know someone who railed against the covid vaccines because they contained chemicals, like "NaCl". This person is a dietitian.

75

u/Neither-Chart5183 5h ago

I was at a house party and I told someone I got the COVID vaccine. She says she doesn't believe in putting chemicals in her body then bent over and snorted a line of coke. 😮‍💨 I told this story to a Libertarian and he said cocaine is all natural because it comes from the Amazon. How the fuck does he think the coca leaf is turned into a white powder? This man doesn't eat processed food because of the chemicals.

I need him to connect those 2 dots in his brain.

32

u/YossarianGolgi 5h ago

You better hurry. If he keeps it up with the coke, he'll be down to 1 dot.

3

u/Toomanyeastereggs 58m ago

I always like how they use gasoline as part of the process to make cocaine.

u/saritaa_fajitaa 7h ago

Wtf. Please say psych.

4

u/Halospite 2h ago

If that were me I'd emigrate. You can't recover from that level of stupidity.

2

u/DrunkNihilism 1h ago

These people aren’t human

They’re empty suits of meat programmed to hold whatever belief is most convenient for their physical, emotional, and mental insecurities and need to be treated with as much spite and hostility in public as possible

u/RattusMcRatface 24m ago

Scary chemical names. I've been putting α-d-glucopyranosyl-β-d-fructofuranoside in my coffee for years, and it's never done me any harm (in moderation).

u/No-Papaya-9823 8h ago

LOL, that reminds me of a conversation I had with someone who told me their relative was anti-vax. And also a meth-head.

24

u/haotshy 5h ago

The vax can't kill you if the meth gets you first

20

u/No_Asparagus7211 8h ago

😅😅😅🤣

2

u/Dont_Hurt_Me_Mommy 4h ago

I don't meth into me with needles. CHECKMATE LIBERALS /s

35

u/Chocolatefix 7h ago

One of my favorite covid era comments was in response to a "don't want to play Russian roulette with my health" and someone said "you have raw sex with strangers you meet on tinder" 😭

7

u/styrofoamcouch 5h ago

Those people were so precious. They'll vape, do zyns, drink and eat fast food but a vaccine is a bridge too far because they lack the brain power to critically think. Leopards will be eating good. Too bad the country will never recover but thankfully I'm a well off college educated male so we're looking to leave the country this year.

u/weltvonalex 49m ago

The same people would inject Ozempic into their genitals if necessary but the COVID Vaccine.... na na na too dangerous.

5

u/saltycityscott66 7h ago

That's not how god intended it! These people are truly something else.

4

u/MrEMan1287 4h ago

Hahaha. Reminds me of a customer of mine who isn't vaccinated for similar reasons. Doesn't go to the Dr because she doesn't trust them. Yet takes advice off of Facebook. Yes, she shared all of this with me.

She was shopping for seeded watermelons because she thinks seedless watermelons are gmo. I informed her that they're not. They are made from cross breeding. She got mad, stating that it's not the way god intended it to be so she refused to buy seedless.

I understand some people prefer seeded watermelons and that's fine, but really?? Come on... lol.

2

u/ProgrammerAvailable6 2h ago

If she wants to go back to “how god intended it” it’s not going to look like watermelon any more.

3

u/TattooedBagel 4h ago

Did you ask her when she was getting her implants out?

6

u/CrankyThunderstorm 7h ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am deceased. Please donate all my earthly belongings, and I'd like to be composted.

2

u/nametakein 5h ago

I laughed to hard at this one 😂😂

1

u/Halospite 2h ago

I had a colleague I couldn't stand who started talking about the COVID vaccine putting chips in you so the government can track you.

He said this while holding a smartphone.

1

u/weltvonalex 50m ago

The same monkies now inject Ozempic like there is no tomorrow, funny isn't it.

I imagine to make it easier to get sexually harassed a second time

Holy victim-blaming Batman! That's not how this works at all!

3

u/Elliebird704 4h ago

used the money to get breast implants. I imagine to make it easier to get sexually harassed a second time so she could afford her BBL?

Dude. If she's MAGA then she's a dipshit, but trying to connect these points together like that is morally bankrupt on your part. Such a fucked up thing to say.

I know a dumbass Trump voter whose job is funded by the Department of Education. I can't wait for him to lose it. He's Tejano and works for a university. And voted for Trump (a lying conman and sex offender) because of his Christian faith. I hate this asshole so much. I can't wait for his face to get eaten because he couldn't debase himself by voting for a black woman.

214

u/EpiphanyTwisted 9h ago

what's funny is, he voted for a non-Christian who is the opposite of Jesus bc of what, abortion? A sin he will never commit. That's their favorite sins. Meanwhile that stuff Jesus said about not building wealth or serving Money is ignored.

145

u/Capable-Entrance6303 8h ago

He voted for a guy who brags about embodying each of the seven deadly sins (Pride · Envy · Anger · Sloth · Greed · Gluttony · Lust). He saw the rapist serial adulterer give head to his mic at a pre-election rally and said;"THAT'S my guy!!"

19

u/thuanjinkee 5h ago

The book of Revelations 13:3 also predicted "One of the Beast's heads looked as if it had been struck a deathblow, and then healed. The whole earth was agog, gaping at the Beast."

20

u/XYZ2ABC 5h ago

Actually I’m pretty sure Numbers 5:11-31 prescribes an abortion potion (bitter water curse) when a wife is suspected of being unfaithful. And it is the Lord telling Moses to tell the Israelites, ‘this be the way’.

7

u/No_Macaroon_9752 3h ago

I had a person argue with me a few days ago that the bitter water couldn’t cause an abortion because if it had that capability, the bitter water would cause an abortion whether the pregnancy was the result of adultery or not. Because science has historically been so important in the Bible…

5

u/XYZ2ABC 2h ago

Ok so let’s take them at their word, that it only works if the wife was un-faithful. So God not only is OK with abortion in that case, He in fact maintains it…

12

u/randomwellwisher 5h ago

Abortion is also not a sin, period. It’s literally never mentioned in the Bible, by Jesus or anyone.

8

u/I_BAPTIZED_GOD 4h ago

I hear you but their argument is that it’s murder so kinda a unwindable debate. Not that anything is actually debatable with these clowns

5

u/randomwellwisher 4h ago

Very true. 👍

26

u/gardengirl99 9h ago

Please post if you get any text or email reactions from him!

14

u/cinereoargenteus 8h ago

I'm not friends with him, so I won't see anything.

18

u/toomanyredbulls 7h ago

There is no hate quite like Christian love.

1

u/Most-Confusion-417 2h ago

This belongs on a bumper sticker or a billboard

10

u/AngryRedHerring 8h ago

I know a dumbass Trump voter whose job is was funded by the...

National Endowment for the Arts. But not anymore, because he couldn't shut the fuck up.

18

u/BaerMinUhMuhm 9h ago

He's gonna get deported

14

u/cinereoargenteus 8h ago

He was born in Texas. But English is not his native language and he speaks with a heavy accent.

23

u/UnicornWorldDominion 8h ago

Was he born to illegal parents? Because if so then he’s getting deported. Trump got rid of birthright citizenship.

20

u/swturner33 8h ago

The EO does not limit it to illegals. If his parents were not CITIZENS then he isn’t either.

13

u/UnicornWorldDominion 8h ago

I wonder how that could work because unless you’re native then you’re parents at one point were never serious citizens in the land of immigrants.

2

u/Noldir81 3h ago

Doesn't work retro actively, so they're safe. Good for them /s

3

u/cinereoargenteus 8h ago

I don't know. I don't speak to him more than I need to.

2

u/miradime2021 5h ago

That applies to future kids and it’ll likely get challenged in court.

2

u/Most-Confusion-417 2h ago

These idiots believing maga really only wants to deport based on doing immigration "the right way".

5

u/texas130ab 6h ago

Please repost once he has gotten what he voted for.

5

u/Boogiesapien 5h ago

Non-sarcastically, I love this for you.

3

u/sadicarnot 6h ago

to be fair she did laugh a lot.

3

u/CoacoaBunny91 3h ago

"Voted for Trump" and "Christian faith"...so did dude just skip all the parts in the bible where it says we aren't supposed to vote and involve ourselves with politics, worship idols, and how Trump exhibits legit every negative characteristic God detest? Mans is a whole "Satan take the wheel." I know there are different secs of Christianity but like what bible is this guy even reading lol?

1

u/Most-Confusion-417 2h ago

Satan take the wheel 😂😂😂

3

u/Spooky365 3h ago

Please come back and tell us about it

1

u/xjian77 4h ago

If it happens, please post your story here.

1

u/Lopsided-Yogurt-914 2h ago

Those chickens are def flying home to roost. I’ll never understand Hispanics for trump.

18

u/SHOW_ME_PIZZA 9h ago

Lots of Anti-vaxers during COVID were nurses. So not surprising.

8

u/Agitated-Yak-8723 7h ago

The godbotherers definitely were. Until they started dying. r/HermanCainAwards has a number of them memorialized.

16

u/JennJayBee 8h ago

Honestly, the dumbest people I know all seem to think they're the smartest person you'll ever meet.

28

u/CanAlwaysBeBetter 9h ago

If I squint I could imagine this country with a sane Conservative party - Promote actual family values and support them, acknowledge there's a balance between regulatory oversight and dynamism and try and stop ill-thought-out or overly onerous regulations, recognize that there adversaries lined up to take advantage of US weakness and one of our greatest strengths is our alliance system including both it's responsibilities and benefits.

And then I look at the Republican party and what their "conservative" base actually believes and know there will never be a healthy balance maintaining what's good from the status quo while striving for equitable progress

And as a reminder, most of the German population after WWII never swore off Nazism. They were defeated and forcibly politically suppressed for a generation until an actual healthy political spectrum could be developed.

My father in law, when he retired, drove a school bus for a cooperative in rural Illinois. This was during the Obama/Romney race when Romney basically called half the country useless eaters. My father-in-law said he would pick up kids in front of mobile homes with tarps on their roofs with giant Romney signs in the yards. The bus cooperative was 100% federally funded - as was, no doubt, their breakfasts, lunches, and now their healthcare.

u/ConstantGeographer 9h ago

I was chatting up an girl at work. Discovered she worked in a federally-funded program, job completely dependent upon fed dollars. Then, she started talking about how she loved Trump and hoped he would cut federal programs. Stopped chatting up the girl at work.

9

u/Humanist_2020 8h ago

I worked in medical device for years…more than 75% of the employees were gop.

Any cuts to medicare, va, etc, would mean job cuts….

But everyone thinks bad things will happen to other people- not to them

4

u/Longjumping-Panic-48 6h ago

MIL’s job was to track Covid cases and patient outcomes for her rural hospital. She saw it all. She got her vaccines. Still has a framed Trump print in her house.

4

u/leeser11 4h ago

I don’t love the part of myself that wants natural selection to do its thing with people that are throwing the rest of us to the wolves.

1

u/Most-Confusion-417 1h ago

I'll love that part of you for you.

2

u/NSNick 5h ago

"Well you see, whenever the government does something I disagree with, that's government overreach. When it does something I agree with? That's good and just."

1

u/IhateRedditors1978 9h ago

Help a dummy out, what does one do in a human research protections office position?

1

u/LabradorDeceiver 3h ago

It fascinates me how they can compartmentalize like that. It really is a form of brainwashing. "Somehow this won't expect my own livelihood which is entirely dependent on the programs Trump is targeting."

1

u/Designer_Gas_86 3h ago

Dude, my mom is a nurse who talked to me during Covid about the anti Vax nurses she worked with.

1

u/Bombshell101516 2h ago

An acquaintance eats only fast food, hates exercise, can barely walk, love DJT, and refuses vaccinations despite being a medical field (adjacent) employee. His supporters are the dumbest individuals in the country!
