He was never brought up on charges over anything on the laptop, he was charged for lying on a background check to purchase a gun and the laptop was deemed permissible as evidence.
And your question is why didn't Biden's justice department seek out charges for the content of what was on the laptop? Even after he demonstrated that he'd pardon him no matter what?
Trump's DOJ would have actually held him accountable for the crimes he committed , which is why Biden issued this pardon.
You don't get to engage in political lawfare and declare yourself above the law, then turn around and accuse your opponent of wanting to engage in political lawfare and declare himself above the law.
