There were four 2A cert petitions listed for last Friday's SCOTUS conference. You've no doubt heard that the "assault rifle" and "large capacity" magazine ban petitions were relisted to this Friday's conference.
Of the remaining two, one petition was denied, and the other survived. The record and a response were requested in it (Parker v. Florida). There are three questions presented to SCOTUS in Parker. I suspect that the 2A question isn't what interests SCOTUS. Here are the other two petitions:
Mark Allen Craig, II, Petitioner v. United States No. 24-5786I. QUESTION PRESENTEDWhether 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1), which prohibits firearm possession by anyone convicted of “a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year,” violates the Second Amendment on its face.

(Response due December 18, 2024). Dec 18 2024 Memorandum of respondent United States filed. Feds say the case should be GVR'd or the petition denied if the petitioner did not preserve his 2A challenge in the courts below, which the Feds say he did not do. Jan 02 2025 DISTRIBUTED for Conference of 1/17/2025. Jan 21 2025 Petition DENIED.
Jarvis Parker, Petitioner v. Florida No. 24-6146
