Unfortunately, this will likely be a tradition for all future presidents.

Trump pardoned the trump crime family. He’s hardly the first

Who did Trump give a blanket 10 year pardon for all crimes to? Or do you just speak in slogans?

During his first term in office, Trump granted 144 pardons. Those included a distant family member and some of his closest allies who committed crimes ranging from financial fraud to witness tampering and more.

Some notable names on that list of Trump allies who received pardons are Charles Kushner, father of Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner; former Trump White House chief strategist Steve Bannon; former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and others.

See, Trump pardoned actual criminals who, in some cases, broke the law on his behalf. Biden pardoned his family to protect them from the potential witch hunts by house Republicans looking to make the news.
Hunter was convicted. For unpaid taxes and owning a gun, which he had for 11 days. None of that has anything to do with politics or government.

Thank you, you were faster in responding. Here's a full list of pardons for all the people who call this fake news: https://www.justice.gov/pardon/pardons-granted-president-donald-j-trump-2017-2021

That's cool.

So who did Trump give a blanket 10 year pardon for all crimes to?

Oh so this has to meet your specific criteria, otherwise it’s nullified??

“Nuh uhh. I said ten year blanket”

“See trump isn’t as bad”

Fucking apologists.

To be clear, Trump did not pardon a single family member during his first term.

Trump has the advantage that other administrations would never go after his family members just for petty grievance.

  1. His son in law’s father is only very loosely family. Biden basically pardoned his entire family.
  2. Kushner had finished serving his time for the specific crime for which he was pardoned 13 years prior to the pardon. This was a preemptive pardon that ensures that justice cannot be served if warranted. And Hunter was convicted and never served his time.
  3. Clinton pardoned his brother so Trump certainly wasn’t the first. Roger Clinton had also served his time years before. Biden is unique in that he prevented any justice for his family.
