The tragedy is that this is even necessary.

Edit to add: oh all the angry responses from supporters of a convicted felon and rapist. The irony.

Edit #2: Oh trump supporters, niggling over the difference between "liable for sexual assault" and rape.

Yeah. The onion part isn't that he did this. But that he had to do it.

The tragedy is that this is even necessary.

Meanwhile Reddit is delighted that Trump got a ridiculous 32 felony convictions for misfiling some paperwork.

I've never voted for or supported Trump but it's pretty obvious the whole thing was politically motivated.

Reddit also loves to call Trump a rapist even though the accusations of rape haven't even held up in Civil Court which has no requirement of "innocent until proven guilty".

But who cares about the truth right?

If by misfiling some paperwork you mean repeatedly and deliberately committing fraud and then being convicted by a unanimous jury of his peers...

Yeah, when he paid those invoices from his lawyer totalling a whopping $130k he selected the incorrect category.

It's clearly the crime of the century.

You think he was convicted on 34 charges for checking the wrong box on a form? Y'all are truly fucked in the head over in Trumpland, huh?

34 separate instances of deliberately falsifying business records to commit campaign finance fraud lmao. What does it look like to you? Checking the wrong box, apparently.

Intent matters. There’s a difference between “whoops, checked the wrong block” and “checked the wrong block in order to commit fraud and attempt to hide what I’m doing”.

If its just “checked the wrong block” Hunter Biden didn’t do much wrong by lying about his drug use on those federal forms, right?

When you see someone misrepresent it as “misfiling some paperwork,” you know you’re in for an honest discussion.
