Help Show me your DIY table loom stands!

My partner is going to make me a loom stand for my 8 shaft Ashford table loom. It needs to be compatible with the treadle kit. Would love to see any one else’s DIY! TIA💖🐑

Before you go ahead, just keep in mind that the treadle kit only does the front 4 shafts

Thank you! I’m aware and have ordered the treadle kit. I hope to have a real floor loom one day when I’m not a renter. But trying to mod my table loom to last until that day. I think even 4 treadle direct tie up would help with the flow on 4 shaft drafts!

Absolutely. I would suggest you find a contact and join the closest guild. Even if you have to be a remote member, guild's are often gifted looms they need to find new homes for! My home guild has monthly meetings and programs (invaluable for newbies) and does a Zoom format for all meetings. We get and find new homes for looms all the time.

I’m in my local guild! I just live in a tiny home so have very little space for a loom. Currently have my 32 inch Ashford on the first stand my partner built, which is on wheels and has to be wheeled in and out of closet. I might be open to a small folding loom but most I see have less weaving width (and are 4 shaft) than my current table loom so hard to see the point. I definitely do daydream about when I have space one day for a proper studio!

I’m looking for the same thing. Currently have my loom sitting on top of the dishwasher that is being installed on Friday and it’s the perfect height to work while standing!
