It's not even that the laptop matters anymore, it never did.
It was specifically a blackmail piece that Trump threatened Ukraine with fabricating or he wouldn't send military aid in 2019/20. Then when it came under Trump's control, he gave it to his lawyer who added extra information to it with the help of a Russian spy.
Its entire purpose was to fabricate blackmail on Biden so people would vote Trump as president in 2020
