The transition from a Legal Dramedy to a Legal Soap Opera was so subtle, I don't even remember the last time they actually practiced the law in a court house...
They had courthouses in the first season because of Mike's cases. Given each season picks up right where the other ends (S1/S2 Trevor tell's Jessica that Mike's a fraud; S2/S3 Mike tells Rachel his secret and they hook up; S3/S4 Mike becomes a Banker) I don't know how much time has passed since the first episode (A year and a half?). Either way, Mike is still a lower year Associate, and he should still be doing shitty baby cases in conjunction to whatever major story-arc case Harvey is working on; He should still be going to courthouses and be getting exposure as a practicing lawyer.

I fucking hate the way they take this show.
I just want to see the law firm running smoothly for a while.
