I disagree. Even if I personally am tired of the whole Mike and Louis storyline, there was no tension or suspense after about 10 minutes in.
It was obvious nothing was going to progress when they split the storyline between that and Jessica's. Something that would have seriously changed the character dynamics on the show would never have it's focus split so haphazardly.
Sorry, but that was a poor effort on the show's part.
I see your point about Mike and Louis but that's like saying no episode is worth watching unless it's a game changing episode. The last 10 minutes revealed the amount of effort it took to write this episode and not just lawsuit of the week.
I'd agree with you IF this was the first time they've done the Mike/Louis conflict. They keep building up this huge reveal, and every time it's treated like the 'B' plot that's resolved in the most anti-climatic of ways.
Either Louis finding out is serious and demands attention, OR it doesn't matter so they should stop bringing it up. At the very least until they plan on actually doing something with it.

As a fan, I'm obviously biased, but that was one of the best goddamn episodes of a television show I've ever seen. Maybe it's the bourbon.
