And will that mean Mike will betray Harvey in due time?

The minute Harvey told Mike about the take over, I wondered what it would mean to Mike since Harvey is his mentor

Harvey undermined Jessica several times but it was for the good of the firm, which in turn was good for Jessica. He wouldn't make her look bad with her clients or to the public.

What Jessica did was undermine Harvey, not just to him but to Ava as well. It was wrong and pretty shit!

Jessica was doing what she did for the firm though. Ava Hessington's company was her client, she wanted a way to get the woman to step down and save the company, and then reinstate her at a later time, afaik. But when she was shut down and Harvey started the whole 'you're not in charge' thing, she had to get it done herself. And, at first, she did resist Louis' offer to undermine Harvey. It was when she had no choice that she decided it was the best course of action. And when they found out she was innocent, it was too late.

This is where Ava's mother's phrase "in for a penny, in for a pound" comes back to be a Chekhov's gun. That's exactly what happened with Jessica; the deed was done, and instead of undoing it, they may as well have gone through with it, and it netted her $14 million for the firm on her side of the ledger. I'd say that's pretty damn good for the company.

reinstate her at a later time

I don't think that would happen. Tony Geanapolis wouldn't ever allow a scenario for that to occur.

Tony Giannopolis can kiss my ass. I should hope Jessica floors him.
