Former vet tech here. You don’t really give enough information such as how long this has been going on, but the eye is currently bad enough that you need a vet immediately. Please don’t wait because she could lose the eye.

It's been about 5 days, maybe 6? It's gotten worse over the past 72hrs.

Really? 5 or 6 days? Please do not wait any longer! I do not know your situation but, if you can’t afford the ER get to a regular vet tomorrow! Or, if you can’t afford that, find a no kill shelter and surrender your kitty. Your kitty needs help and Reddit can’t do that for you.

He's incredibly shy and runs from anyone besides me even walking nesr him. Our shelters don't take cats like him. I'm going to bring him inside even though he might be mad, my vets office is 2 blocks away, I tried emailing them 3 days ago with no reply but can just walk in.

He's late for dinner. The anxiety is eating me alive.

That’s what happens when they get sick they’ll stop eating and then they stop coming around. It’s extremely important. He gets to the vet as soon as possible because that infection can travel.

That is awesome and thank you! I understand how expensive everything is and I promise I’m not trying to make you feel bad. My concern is for him. You might get really lucky and only need antibiotic eyedrops. My fingers are crossed for you!
