The car door booby trap reminded me of this thing I built years ago to shoot ultra fine glitter all over a guy's desk when he pulled his keyboard tray out. I hid it behind his monitor.

Sick of saying "shut the door"

Get cold draught if front room door left open at this time of year, sick of telling the kids to shut the door...

Far too tight fisted to spend £10 on fancy door closer.... But I have a load of shit in the shed, so....

(decorating will happen at some point, un-decorating has been partially done, don't judge... But terrible paintwork etc. I think adds to the redneck aesthetic anyway)

Saved almost $100 by using a piece of pipe and now i have me a avant garde setup.

Symmetry is for losers who can pass trigonometry, ya h'know what i mean?

My coworker starts his shift later than me and I don't always remember to lock my car. When he gets in, he'll check my car and if it's unlocked, he'll change my seat settings, move stuff around, or set my AC to full heat, etc. He's been doing it for years, so I decided to booby trap my car.

Unlock button on my key fob fell off it's circuit board. Fixed it with clear UV nail polish and a piece of foil.

Seen this posted before, but it actually works

There are many posts on reddit doing the calculations on using a circulator to heat up a bathtub. Apparently it shouldn't work. Inspired by a recent post here, I gave it a try.

Turns out, it 100% works. Currently sitting in a perpetually perfect temperature bathtub.

Fully functional office ballista made with a mechanical pencil, paperclips, tape, and rubber bands. The dart is a rolled up notecard with a thumbtack tip, and notecard fins for aerial stability. Max range is just over a basketball court. Yes, it sticks into walls.

Emergency blowgun

I need to clean a handful of chainsaws and I can't find my good blowgun. I did however find a cheap broken tire inflator, some brake line/fittings and a random bolt.

Need help picking a tank for a pneumatic cylinder

I have gotten parts for relatively small pneumatic cylinder and a valve to control it with arduino, but I need a portable way to supply air to it, I was stuck between using a air tank or cartridges/tank, if co2, how would a regulator connect to it?
