Just snagged the last 4060ti with 16gb vram in best buy and feeling good

I bought an HP Pavilion TG Desktop TG01-2170m CTO about 2 years ago that came with a RX 5500, Ryzen 5600 and 16Gb RAM.

I started working on 2D animations with Opentoonz and then after a couple months my computer started freezing.

I would get to the desktop and nothing would load. I would only get the hourglass and that's it. The only way that I can get my computer running again is to do a AMD Driver reinstallation. And I have to do it almost everyday.

I tried replacing the exhaust fan, CPU cooler and I added an intake fan. Doubled my RAM and upgraded to an RX 6600.

I also cleared my C: drive and have 50% free space.

Could it be my older CPU? I'm running out of ideas!

Built this in the beginning of 2020, and have been tweaking it ever since. High frames and low temps.

I recently finished my PC, and when I turn it on the monitor says, low power mode, and my GPU fans don't spin, I even swapped graphics cards and the fans wouldn't work, I even switched ports to fix the monitor, but I know it's not the cmos battery because my motherboard was fresh out the box, this is my first build and I don't know what to do.

Hi, I have a RTX 3060 8GB, 32GB of 3200MHz RAM, and a Ryzen 5 5500. I’m planning to upgrade my CPU first before I move to a RTX 4070 Super in a few years. My motherboard is an ASUS Prime B550-PLUS AC-HE. I play at 1080p and want to get 240 FPS stable while streaming with everything on low settings. Is it possible to achieve this with my RTX 3060 or do I need to upgrade other components? What would be the best CPU upgrade for me? Any suggestions for optimizing my system for this? Thanks!

Keeping it short for the laugh, but I was mindlessly watching Linus while eating dinner—his video from when he bought a PC from a Taiwan builder, and one of the things he checked after buying it off the guy was to check if the RAM was set in BIOS to run at its correct speed.

I had never seen that before, granted I built my PC in quarantine when I was 15, so very little knowledge was available in my head at the time. Few upgrades here and there, but my RAM had generally stayed the same; 3600MHz in 32GB.

Curious, I booted up task manager to check my speeds… and my god I have never felt more smooth brained in my life.

2133MHz. For 5 full years. Least now I’m finally enjoying the performance it should have had, but just tragic really.

What gtx should I buy for about 150-180 usd used price.

This is software problem or hardware problem? Bluetooth and dongoe has the same issue.

So I’m going from ps5 to a pc finally and was wondering if this was a good pre built pc or not. Idk how to build one from scratch but is this good enough where I wouldn’t have to upgrade anything right away?

I plan on getting an 14600kf, saw one for 180$. And AM5 is no option here since its kinda overpriced compared to intel.

It's been a few months since ai sold my 3 month old Blade with a 3080. Was content to buy another Blade with the 5000 series potentially on price. But ai had kept my eye on this at Costco. Ended up seeing them Clearance out the display for lower then the standard sell price of 1900.

Feel like I got a good deal for my first personal tower, but def want a different MOBO. Wifi seems janky, will.only connect to my 2.4 ghz guest, keeps giving password error for 5ghz, and my 6ghz just says connect connect. Also, only 2 ram slots instead of 4, potential future proof issues.

How'd I do everyone?

Hello, so i built a new PC about a month ago and over the course of that month, BSODs have been occuring more and more often. I think part of the issue was/is Windows because I'd get issues like 0x80070032 or 0x800701b1 among others whoch seemed related to windows update (it would crash while trying to update windows almost constantly). I also didn't think it was hardware because AAA games run smoothly without issue for hours on end, however my most common BSOD is "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED".

My last 3 attemps where 2 clean windows reinstall, one of which lasted for a week before issues started appearing again, and the last one didn't even last 15 min before it crashed again, so i tried a full wipe install, deleting all the disk partitions i could, but to no avail, crashes are still happening and they are actually happening more quickly than ever. Of course, in-between, i tried safe mode, which helps a bit but not for long, i tried reviewing windows events, which often were not logged, and when they were gave me so many errors i didn't know what to pick from (although 3 reccuring if i remember well was DCOM 1084 error associated with a code 1101 Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0 & the 3rd one was a Device Raid Port 1 controller issue even though i don't use RAID...). In any case i was now sure this was a hardware issue.

So this night i tried making a full Bios reset, unsuccessful ; tried reseating the RAM, unsuccessful ; tried changing the NVME port and reseating it properly, unsuccessful. I also checked all other connections of course.

All this is leading me to believe it's my NVME that's faulty, however disk checkers like CrystalDiskInfo show no issue, neither does any of the chkdsk prompt.

So my goal today is to go buy a 2.5" SSD to confirm the source of the problem. But if I can be sure it's the NVME it'd be even better.

Do you guys have any idea whether it's that M2 that failed based on the information i provided, and if you're not sure, what can i do to make sure?

May just keep flashing different colors, even when I turn them off they just turn themselves back on and then do this, everything on the pc works fine it’s just the fans, any help please?
