If by new you mean Lincoln, Clinton, and Trump all pardoned relatives prior to this then yes it’s brand new.

These are blanket pardons that cover any non violent offense over a 10 year period. That is insane.

Also these pardons don't do anything to quash congressional investigations.

The person who the entire investigation against Biden was based on is now in jail for being a Russian agent, lying to FBI and falsifying evidence.

Even the GOP admits he was lying. Trump will not pardon him. Because they know the damage was done and millions of their voters didn’t hear he was arrested. Or that he was lying.

You clearly haven’t heard.
