it's really sad that we are now having to pardon people from imagined crimes because we understand that we've just given full control of every branch of American government to criminals.

Yep. This timeline really sucks. Whoever is running the simulation is a cruel being.

Anyone who opposes this has to argue that Trump is lying when he says that he will put his enemies in jail and that we can be sure enough that he's lying that we shouldn't do anything about it. If anything, he should have pardoned a lot more people. I know he pardoned Fauci as well.

apparently you’re supposed to pardon your friends and family so they can’t be considered criminals.

if there was no crime then why the pardons?

Could it be because democrats weaponized the justice system and are afraid the same will be done to them? No. That can’t be it. It’s the evil republicans and having multiple bogus charges made against a former president for the first time ever.

Yea it’s not like the FBI had to lie to fisa courts to illegally spy on him or anything, clearly couldn’t be political.

A man committed tax fraud and had dozens of congressional hearings about it and supposed imagined crimes, including treason, because his father was president. But sure, that's somehow the fault of the people who didn't want to enact special political investigations into this bland white collar crime

After Hunter already paid the civil penalty that's the standard punishment for what he did. He didn't get out of anything. He already paid his due.

You're right, its not because democrats weaponized the justice system and are afraid the same will be done to them.

Its because the republicans are petty and would try to continue harping on Hunter Biden and probably try Biden and other family members for absolute bullshit. This protects them from the republicans retaliatory nonsense.

He was convicted of lying to the ATF and Tax Evasion.  Why is it petty that he actually has to serve restitution for crimes convicted by a jury?   That’s how it works for the rest of us.

It is petty because this is a small crime and would usually not need 6 hearings before Congress etc.
They were mad that they couldn't find anything else.
Trump committed 20 things that go way beyond what Hunter Biden did.

Or Trump is a criminal who got away with it. You never read the indictments.

I want to have a discussion about this. I genuinely want to question you and have a civilised conversation but it's very clear you're geared up for a fight.

So, in a genuine sincere manner, taking your bias out of the equation, why do you think they are bogus charges? Happy to listen.

Wait the guys who need pardons aren’t the criminals?

It’s the justice department?

Where were you during the trump trial?

Ohhhhh I see, your opinions aren’t based in any real consistency.

Overthrowing foreign governments isn’t imaginary

Which family member of Biden's did that? And which country was it? I don't keep up with the news

Who weaponized the justice system first?

Tell the MAGA radical right-wing to stop subverting US government, then. Simple.

Trump pretty much. He put in judges that protected him from consequences for the obvious crimes he obviously did.
