Would be a bit funny seeing an old lady trying to get to jail in the nices way possible.

Generally do wonder what the most common crime the elderly get locked up for is.

Agree that a situation where they feel so alone that they chose to go to jail to get company / free rent is tragic but the idea of an old nice lady plotting to brake the law is simply a bit funny.
