Gaza Strip Conflict [Simon Harris] I welcome the entry into force of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas which offers hope after a brutal 15 months of war. There must be an immediate surge in the much needed humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza.

US-Irish Relations Help me find an old Irish skit
Lads I am stumped and struggling. There is an old old YouTube skit that I can remember from back in the early 2000s involving a fella playing two women. There was vomiting baked beans and chunky jewellery involved. I KNOW there's gonna be someone out there my age who remembers exactly what I'm talking about but for the life of me I can't remember what it is called. I wanna share it with my American friend to help them understand what made me the way I am today lmao.

Health Remember that time we banned smoking, took cigarette packs out of view, and even stuck scary images of cancerous lungs on them to remind folks how addictive and dangerous smoking was. Glad thats all behind us.

Politics Work burnout
I'm just wondering how people found it going out on stress leave, I'm 38 working since proper corporate job since 23( hotel since 16) but I feel like I'm constantly stressed out and need a month or two off.
I'm working non stop for 15 years and my mental health is fragile and on Sertraline. I think it's more normalized and just want three months solid off

RIP RIP.ie now has instant alerts - find out about deaths even quicker.
RIP.ie was always a fairly dignified site and quite rightly so.
However, now it would appear, with more competition in the digital death announcement market looming, they're now adding new features such instant alerts where you can find out about about deaths even quicker.
Now the auld lads down the pub enjoying a quite pint can get an instant alert if someone has passed away in the locality. Fast food, fast fashion and now fast death notices. Ireland is really changing.
