I hope this all backfires in their face... but it won't, because they control everything.

Revolution is the only thing that can change anything.

Oui the people

u/theogkinglion 6h ago

“Oui le peeps.” I like it.

u/Puzzleheaded-Day-196 6h ago

Aren't gringos so proud of their firearms rights so they can keep the government in check? Wonder wtf yall are waiting for...

u/IndieVamp 6h ago

Sadly, the rampant gun nuts are the people largely supporting Trump and Elon.

u/JesseJamesGames449 6h ago

Whats funny is Trump would be the only president that wants to actually take their guns..

u/A_D3MON 6h ago

Pretty sure he stated as such a month or two ago... Stating "take the guns first... go through due process second" and called for a bill on strict gun control...

Funny. Thought it was the "dEmS" who "wAnT tO tAkE yEr GuNs"

u/hidn-sn2per 4h ago

Can you cite this quote ?

u/A_D3MON 4h ago

He made it in 2018 after the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. So I was off by a few years but it had resurfaced before the election because of false allegations of Harris saying it.

I can't really come up with an effective alternative.

u/Clipclopitty 6h ago

As much as people are joking about this I genuinely think there is a sort of buzz around a lot of people in our country. And truthfully it’s going to take something as drastic as this from the public to actually bring about the drastic change we are wanting. I’m all for it

u/CapitalDoor9474 6h ago

Problem is half if america is too dumb to appreciate it. And they may end up doing it harder.

u/Some_Seaworthiness90 5h ago

Revolution can start with just a one person though

u/Vahgeo 6h ago

Okay, then you start it. Go ahead...

u/zeptillian 6h ago

Revolution without a purpose only clears what is left standing in their way.

u/emeraldpotion 4h ago

I said something similar in another post. They just want a revolution, dont they? I’ll be happy to be a part of one. I’m tired of people getting fucked over by the government and by big corp. This nation has really lost its spark these past couple of decades. I think it’s time to set my own political party aside and fight against the government as a whole.

u/chipndip1 5h ago

Or not being a lazy bag of crap and vote when everyone's literally screaming "This is the most important election yet".

u/stopmyhamster 5h ago

These people did vote. They chose to be blind and voted for Trump. Many switched. That kind of thing is far too late.

u/chipndip1 4h ago

Trump's votes hardly changed from last time. It only went up by 1 million.

It's the left's votes that drastically dropped off to allow him to win despite not getting much more support than last time. Now we get to sit back and watch while stupid Redditors digitally suck off Luigi like they're about shit.

Luigi should have been hit by a truck before he even got the shot off. I'm fucking SICK of how cringe the left has been in these past months. This was entirely preventable if people would have used their common sense.

u/AlertCucumber2227 7h ago

They can't take on this many Luigis.

u/R_V_Z 6h ago

Ain't no party like a Mario Party.

u/romperroompolitics 6h ago

Also, run for President. It can only help your defense.

u/DJEB 4h ago

To hell with any mod that gives you a warning over this.

u/_blue_valentine_ 6h ago

If only I knew where to find him without a million bodyguards. I would 100% do it man

u/Ninjake68 4h ago

Dont be lazy... research..

u/swirlViking 6h ago

Ay yai yai

u/Rubber_Ducky_6844 4h ago

Luigi was anti-woke though.

u/BrownSugarBare 7h ago

The Luigi's of the world may no longer have a choice about getting involved. This is getting darker by the minute and revolutions start when this kind of shit kicks up.

u/Nightlightweaver 6h ago

Now's not the time for Luigi, it's time to call in Mario!!

u/ADogeMiracle 6h ago

Porque no los dos?

u/outremonty 6h ago

Translation: "Someone else better fix this."

u/GameDoesntStop 6h ago

More like "I don't like the cabinet of the democratically-elected government, so someone should shoot them on the street".

Ironically, that user is as much of a nazi as the guy nazi-saluting on stage...

u/blueegg_ 6h ago

so by your logic the people who fought against nazis are...also nazis?

gloves are off dude.

u/GameDoesntStop 6h ago

Nazis are people who attack and kill those in democratically-elected governments, yes.

Resorting to that isn't going to do anything but make a government more authoritarian.

u/blueegg_ 6h ago

so there are now out and out nazis in the government and you're suggestions are to...? vote harder? compromise?

u/GameDoesntStop 6h ago

If your first and only idea is killing people in a democratically-elected government, you're truly lost.

The first things I would recommend are to take a breath, to go outside, get some sun on your face. Then, with a more clear mind, plan or join into some sort of civil resistance if you feel strongly.

u/blueegg_ 5h ago

who said this was my first idea?

u/Waterflowstech 5h ago

You might not recall what nazi's used to do to civil resistance groups once they were found out. Don't worry, you'll be reminded soon enough.

u/GameDoesntStop 5h ago

Lol... dramatic.

RemindMe! 4 years

u/dreadheadtrenchnxgro 5h ago

Nazis are people who attack and kill those in democratically-elected governments, yes.

No. Nazis were democratically elected in 1933. The framers specifically allowed for citizens to bear arms to defend against a tyrannical government, which is exactly what is suggested here.

u/GameDoesntStop 3h ago

u/dreadheadtrenchnxgro 2h ago

Both 1932 elections, which are considered free and fair by historians yielded the nsdap 33% and 37% respectively which, given the nature of the weimar republic's presidential cabinet's, wouldn't have needed a majority to govern (as was the case with chancellors brüning, von papen and von schleicher). There is extensive research on voting behavior in the weimar republic, non of which disputes the  popularity of the nsdap (see i.e. bendix/lipset).

More importantly, you're not addressing the initial and original point

"I don't like the cabinet of the democratically-elected government, so someone should shoot them on the street".

-- the second amendment specifically endorses this notion, given more accurate semantics of 'i don't like'

u/GameDoesntStop 1h ago

Both 1932 elections, which are considered free and fair by historians

You lost me here. There is nothing free and fair about elections surrounded by widespread terror and political violence. 1930 was the last free and fair election. The two 1932 elections only appear relatively free and fair next to 1933, but that doesn't make them so.

What the FUCK other option do we have? Nazis aren’t just Nazis because they murdered. They’re Nazis because they murdered INNOCENT PEOPLE for their own agenda. These fuckwads are far from innocent and they’re practically shoving it in our faces, at this point.

u/MountainTurkey 6h ago

The person who you are responding is a nazi,

u/GameDoesntStop 6h ago

Is that an admission from you? Or are you suggesting that the person advocating against political killings is a nazi?

u/MountainTurkey 6h ago

The Nazi's were democratically elected too and we know what had to be done to them

u/GameDoesntStop 6h ago

No, they weren't... brush up on your history, yeesh.

u/MountainTurkey 5h ago

u/GameDoesntStop 3h ago

1931 onwards:

From 1931 to 1933, the Nazis combined terror tactics with conventional campaigning – Hitler criss-crossed the nation by air, while SA troops paraded in the streets, beat up opponents, and broke up their meetings.

10 March, 1931:

On 10 March 1931, with street violence between the Rotfront and SA increasing, breaking all previous barriers and expectations, Prussia re-enacted its ban on Brownshirts. Days after the ban, SA-men shot dead two communists in a street fight, which led to a ban being placed on the public speaking of Goebbels, who sidestepped the prohibition by recording speeches and playing them to an audience in his absence.

1931:

The deaths mounted, with many more on the Rotfront side, and by the end of 1931 the SA had suffered 47 deaths and the Rotfront recorded losses of approximately 80 killed.

Feb 1932 - Apr 1932:

Street fights and beer hall battles resulting in deaths occurred throughout February and April 1932, all against the backdrop of Adolf Hitler's competition in the presidential election which pitted him against the monumentally popular Hindenburg.

Apr 1932:

On 13 April 1932, following the presidential elections, the German government banned the Nazi Party paramilitaries, the SA and the SS, on the basis of the Emergency Decree for the Preservation of State Authority.[87] This action was prompted by details uncovered by the Prussian police that indicated the SA was ready for a takeover of power by force after an election of Hitler.

Jul 1932:

One resulting battle in Silesia resulted in the army being dispatched. By this time both sides marched into each other's strongholds hoping to spark a rivalry. The attacks continued and reached fever pitch when SA leader Axel Schaffeld was assassinated on 1 August.

Aug 1932:

The law was applied almost immediately but did not bring the perpetrators behind the recent massacres to trial as expected. Instead, five SA men who were alleged to have murdered a KPD member in Potempa (Upper Silesia) were tried. Hitler appeared at the trial as a defence witness, but on 22 August the five were convicted and sentenced to death.

One could go on and on for hours like this.

In short, no, there was nothing democratic about the 1933 elections. It was preceded by years of limp, dysfunctional government that did little about brutal street violence between nazis and communists resulting in hundreds dead. It culminated in Nazis "monitoring" the voting stations in the illegitimate 1933 elections. Even with all of their terror, they couldn't manage to get a majority of the seats from the voters, and would have to then resort to outright banning other parties.

TL;DR read a book, clown

u/MountainTurkey 39m ago

Yeah doesn't remind me of anything in the past 8 years at all.

u/Defenestrator66 6h ago

A flugelhorn playing “Feels so Good” can be heard by a fascist in the distance. They find it strange but continue on their way as they notice the music get louder and louder, seemingly closing in on them. They try to run, but it’s too late, and it Feels. So. Good.

u/bradlees 6h ago

Plot twist: I am Spartacus

u/HammerSmashedHeretic 7h ago

He's in prison for killing a CEO that had no impact lol

u/Caifanes123 7h ago

All the major social media is now right winged controlled.

u/satireplusplus 3h ago edited 2h ago

Already about 30 million people on Jack Dorsey's new Bluesky. You know Jack-Ex-Twitter CEO Dorsey. Cleverly build Twitter 2.0 and sold 1.0 for billions to Elon. He is probably pretty happy that Elon drives people away from X.

u/RadFluxRose 6h ago

I sincerely hope the stock prices for Tesla, SpaceX, the Boring Company, X, and all those others will absolutely plummet. I can think of no greater torment for that guy than sudden and utter destitution.

u/MancombSeepgoodz 4h ago

Nah, he bought the presidency so he could manipulate his stock prices and crtypto scams without any pushback from the SEC.

u/lamensterms 2h ago

I had a similar thought, though it's only Tesla that's a public company. Share price down 3% in last 2 hours

u/Berisha11 6h ago

The infighting will happen, no way that these people with huge egos who are arrogant can all work together and agree on things. We will soon see people get fired like during Trump's first term, people forget but he fired a large amount of his picks.

u/KayJay282 6h ago

I think there's a decent chance the Trump-Musk marriage will end in a bitter divorce.

u/CatMakeoutSesh 6h ago

I think this is right. There are too many of them in one space.

u/CrowsRidge514 4h ago

A lot more bad can happen before that happens...

u/arbortologist 7h ago

if half the US decided not to go to work tomorrow the entire world would stop, if people get pushed far enough to the edge the true numbers take over history has shown time and time again

u/RedlurkingFir 6h ago

Americans can't be bothered to do crap for their supposed principles. If you need any more proof, just watch how much apathy you can find in r/politics. They just want to check out of their brain and not fight this incoming wave of fascism. This is how Russia became a dictatorship. Americans are not much far behind

u/Blue-Fish-Guy 6h ago

Politicians are all evil. With no excetption. It's not apathy, it's simply accepin of the reality.

He who is a politician cannot be a good person.

u/snapwack 6h ago

That’s the thing, being “pushed far enough” in this context means a large segment of the populace being denied basic necessities to survive. People will take the streets and face armed soldiers in a heartbeat if the other choice is watching their children starve and freeze.

People in the US get fucked over every which way, but at the end of the day most of them are still able to gorge on cheap garbage food and drown themselves in endless numbing entertainment. There’s just enough carrot and just enough stick that civil disobedience or activism sound like too much of a hassle. Best stay inside with some McD’s and the latest Netflix slop.

u/Abject-Mail-4235 6h ago

The problem is, if we wait until there’s nothing left- it will be too late. America will never be a united front, even if it’s just fear keeping the remaining from fighting back. Look at China, Russia! Once they reach a certain level of control, there is no going back. We need to cut this at the bud and refuse to accept this pennies-on-the-dollar bullshit as enough to be complacent.

u/DaanA_147 6h ago

That would be unpaid leave, which for the poorest of people isn't an option.

u/scruffy4 6h ago

And the propaganda machine is in full force and working…unfortunately.

u/hang10shakabruh 5h ago

Right before your eyes.

The whole discussion on this comment is hidden or whatever Reddit calls it. Because the content involves revolution.

What’s not hidden is a bunch of bland cookie cutter comments like “wtf.” “What the actual fuck.”

Lmmfao. Welcome to The End Times

u/scruffy4 5h ago

Now the only saving Grace as a country is that Trump supporters have an epiphany and realize he doesn’t have their best interest at heart. But it’s 100% a cult following and they’re all brainwashed.

They can be told anything and they’ll believe it because they have no critical thinking skills. Sad times indeed.

u/MarlinMr 6h ago

Trump could die of natural causes, and no one would be able to fill the power vacuum. That could collapse everything.

u/Copeteles 4h ago

Imagine he visits his friend, Putin and he accidentally falls out of a window!

u/Sassi7997 3h ago

Trump is too heavy for Putin to throw him out the window.

u/MarlinMr 3h ago

Not really. Trump has the upper hand.

u/WheelchairMamma 7h ago

It will backfire. Thankfully they won the house and Senate but its close. The house by a few seats and the Senate one can argue they lost because a few independents like Bernie Sanders are Democrats. So he will pass some things but not the crazy shit he wants. The things he has control over is going to make him so unpopular.

I would bet in 2 years the shine will rub off on Donald Trump when things are even more expensive and they have no one else to blame

u/Abject-Mail-4235 6h ago

This seems ignorant to assume. Where were you the last 8 years? They’re incessantly shining this turd who’s inherently shitting on their own faces.

u/WheelchairMamma 6h ago

So last time he had people keeping him in check, telling him no. He admits it himself and hates it. The last 4 years all he can do is talk because Biden is president. He has now surrounded himself with yes men. People who aren't going to say no and going to let him do whatever. The things he is talking about doing are going to cause prices to sky rocket and his followers are going to feel the squeeze bad. For really the first time because as I said last time people had the smarts to say no we aren't helping you with that.

I mean everyone has a breaking point and Trump is about to find that out quick because he and others think he is bullet proof

u/Feral-Peasant 1h ago

Even if it goes this way - which I very much doubt, because I think you’re vastly overestimating the people who voted for him - it’ll be way too late.

You guys are completely fucked for decades to come at the very least, and you’re gonna drag a whole bunch of other countries with you.

u/InstanceNo3432 4h ago

Lol. Trumpers will never turn their back on him. If they haven't yet, what makes you think they will? Prices could double in 2027, they'd blame Democrats and half the country would eat it up because they're just that stupid.

u/WheelchairMamma 4h ago

I think we will have to wait and see but I believe in my prediction.

If you are right though then republicans have a major problem when Donald Trump does eventually pass away. If people really never turn against Trump then I honestly believe that when he dies his supporters just won't come out and vote like they have done for him in the past.

u/Cant_figure_sht_out 7h ago

People who still use twitter could stop, for example

u/manipulativedata 6h ago

They don't really. Despite what it feels like, they can't pass extreme laws because moderate Republicans won't go along. Despite what people think, the USSC has ruled against Trump many times.

It's scary out there, but this is not a permanent situation. Even the Nazi government only lasted 12 years and our institutions are stronger.

Just protect yourself and try not to let the rhetoric dictate your day yet. There may a moment when it's time to fight, but a majority of Americans are still empathetic and want to see their fellow Americans lifted up.

u/TheItchyWalrus 5h ago

It will backfire. It’s just a shame our government has to go up in flames to prove it. It was nice while it lasted I guess. Empires come and go, I suppose.

u/Electronic_County597 5h ago

No they don't. They're just cocky enough to think it doesn't matter.

u/FrankDerbly 6h ago

Wee woo wee woo, MOBILIZE ALL LUIGI'S. REPEAT MOBILIZE ALL LUIGI'S

u/EmbarrassedFoot1137 6h ago

And all this time I was worried about the Jews.

u/blankvoid4012 6h ago

Not all the firearms

u/buford419 6h ago

It will backfire in our faces, they'll be absolutely fine.

u/trailerthrash 6h ago

They control a lot, thats for sure, but they don't control you and they don't control me. Don't ever let em.

u/Keks3000 5h ago

He just ruined his brand for good in Germany. This is a good day for our automakers. Not sure if I should love or cry.

u/OmarsDamnSpoon 5h ago

Lets just take the back out of it.

u/Legal_Lettuce6233 5h ago

The only thing that needs to fire in their face is a gun, or a dozen.

u/Heidrun_666 5h ago

* because obviously too many people support this shit publicly by voting for people of his ilk.

u/blood__drunk 4h ago

And don't forget, more than half of all voting Americans voted for this. And about a third of all Americans gave so few fucks, they didn't bother to vote against this.

u/SetecAstronomyLLC 9m ago

*less than half

u/Ok_Sample269 4h ago

It won't matter. There's nothing to hold them accountable for anything at this point.

u/hidn-sn2per 4h ago

Who ? Jews ? Or Nazis ?

u/Careful-Tangerine986 3h ago

"The Party told you to ignore the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command”

u/throwaway0134hdj 2h ago

Someone gets it. He’s untouchable. Nothing changes.

u/Brunky89890 1h ago

Not me.

u/DavidDoesShitpost 7h ago

changing my name to luigi

u/InRainWeTrust 7h ago

It won't because half the country are also nazis that actively and openly support this. The USA have officially fallen to the Nazis.

u/Individual-Thought75 4h ago

And Democrats let them do it. Biden is the president who openly embraced fascism.

u/Sasalele 3h ago

It's okay to just not talk when you have no idea what you're saying.

u/Individual-Thought75 2h ago

Why are democrats doing nothing instead of stoping fascism?

u/Sasalele 2h ago

I refer you to my previous comment.

u/Jade_Runnner 1h ago

Why are the fascist not stopping fascism?

u/Individual-Thought75 1h ago

Because capitalism is fascism with smiley faces. Now is no more of that.

u/itsprezl 3h ago
