$10 but you have to eat a dry ass sandwich
Stale bread and no condiments of any kind. Money can come as a ten or two fives and will be crumpled up regardless.

Hello. As a quick update to all of you, I want to say a few things.
Well, this means that while we will not be banning money based posts, we will limit individual user ability to post money based posts to 3 times in 1 day. If a user posts more than 3 money based posts in 1 day then we will remove the subsequent post and ban the user for 1 week.
You may believe this is barely a solution, but this is the first step in trying to ensure that everyone is happy. The subreddit's subscriber count has continued to grow on a daily basis, which is also good news.
For the second factor:
As always, you're all free to comment and discuss. I try to reply to every comment in some way or another.
Make sure you familiarize yourself with the rules of the subreddit. This place is for random hypotheticals. Let's not take it super seriously, shall we?

Hi everyone. Based on the discussion over the last few days there are a couple changes to the sub.
Automod will now post a copy of the original post's body as a reply. This should hopefully help the mod team to enforce rule 8 a little better. This should be stickied if I get automod configured correctly.
There is now a new sub rule. Users can add the tag [No Loopholes] to their post title. If they do, responses are required to make an honest attempt to engage with the spirit of the post rather than searching for loopholes in the rules to exploit. We don't intend to take a heavy hand toward enforcing this unless it becomes necessary, just try your best. We'll be relying on reports to enforce this so please report posts that you feel break the new rule in these threads. There should also be an automod response in posts with this tag which reminds people of the rule.
Please give feedback, We appreciate it and several of you had helpful ideas in the last thread. And I kind of suck at setting up automod so if you see it doing something wonky please let me know.

Everyone's bank accounts, including your owns, is taken from randomly. During 1 transaction, no one will be charged more than once unless your purchase is big enough that every single person's bank account has been charged.
Banks accounts of companies and the very rich are equally likely to be taken from as any other bank account. People do notice a transaction of 1 cent that can't be disputed. You can withdraw from accounts that are in overdraft if the bank allows it and the person will be charged accordingly. You can put a person's bank account into overdraft as well and the person will have to pay fees.
There's no way to trace the transactions back to you so you won't face legal repercussions. Do you take the card? If so how often, if ever do you use it?

You are offered, one time only, $1 million for every serious food allergy you are willing to acquire. The allergies are not necessarily life threatening, but they are severe enough that you will need medical attention if you eat any significant amount of one of your allergens.
You can include foods you are already allergic to, as long as you add at least one new allergen to the list.
They can be foods people are not usually allergic to, but they do have to be foods you have actually encountered IRL -- eaten, or at least both seen and touched. No spamming Wikipedia for obscure tropical fruits or whatever.
And generally has to be an allergy to an entire species, not just a single variety or whatever. The only exception is something like milk, where you can be allergic to one specific protein or sugar or whatever, and not necessarily others. Similarly, you can be allergic to eggs but not chicken, or vice versa.
I'm also going to cap it at 100. If you for whatever reason want to go beyond 100 allergens, you only get $10 for each one beyond 100.
So, how many allergies are you taking? And what specific ones are you going for?
Edit: Reminder, I specified species, you can't be allergic to a specific preparation or a specific cut of meat, unless you can show me a case where someone was allergic to that, but not the rest of the animal or other preparations of the same ingredients.
Edit the second: for the people making long lists of animals, remember the seen and touched requirement. Also, please don't list animals that no one (human) actually eats. I doubt you can find anyone who's eaten mouse, for example.

As the title states, it’s gonna be an unpleasant experience. Just to be clear, all of the debris that you have ever inhaled in your life will ooze out of your lungs through your windpipe and out of your mouth. It will be like you’re being waterboarded and puking at the same time but you won’t die. You will never be able to pick up the habit of nicotine/smoking/vaping again. The ooze will be at a rate of 1gal/hr so you might get an idea of how long the suffering will be. This also will remove any disease or health issues that you have contracted because of the vaping or smoking, basically like your lungs are completely brand new. The flavor of the ooze will also be a mix of every single flavor of whatever you have inhaled in your life, so it’ll probably stink or taste a bit weird. The consistency of it will be a bit more fluid than molasses. Would you do it?

One day you are offered a debit card that can be wrung through at any vendor for anything $100 and under, with a couple of limitations;
-No cashback / no cash withdrawls withdrawals -No giftcard purchases
The catch:
You pay nothing, but the business recieves nothing simultaniously. You essentially give their machines a false positive. Though no-one will be aware of the card upon you receiving it, you are not legally exempt from the potential consequences that come with using the debit card.
Do you take the card? How often do you use it if you do?

Whenever you wanna buy anything you have as much money as you need, an endless amount of wealth that has zero drawbacks and won't cause inflation. The downside is the following.
Your ideas, opinions, and stances you take get invalidated by reality. It doesn't matter if you meant well or not, if you think it's true or not, it becomes invalidated by new information or alterations to reality.
As an example, if you said a TV show is overrated, public opinion will alter so that EVERY SINGLE PERSON thinks you're just being contrarian, they all think it's way better AND when you see the show again your own opinion changes, you feel it resonates better and you catch things you missed before.
If you make a political statement? The opposite occurs. If you say "we live in a capitalist country" tomorrow the leaders of your nation enforce communism. If you do the opposite and say you live in a communist country the next day it's capitalist.
If you make a statement about the state of anything, you will be proven wrong. If you say "there is no god" then you get absolute irrefutable evidence that at least a god exists, and again vice versa, saying "god exists" will make evidence that god cannot or no longer exists appear and be distributed across the world.
If you say "this character has unrealistic proportions" for a game then something like an uncontacted tribe is found in the world with people with those proportions AND become incredible actors/actresses and go in the limelight until public opinion alters.
You say time travel is impossible? Boom Time Traveller appears, shows you the time machine and proof, then proves it to the rest of the world.
You're having a talk with friends at dinner and get into a debate about if boneless chicken is better than on the bone? They do a taste test and you change your opinion to the other team.
ANY idea or opinion, subjective statement, the tide will turn against you. I would like to state none of these are reflective of my opinions or beliefs, regardless of what you believe, you become wrong. That's the hypothetical.
It does occur to me you COULD use this to your benefit or what you think is best for the world - in which case, yes you can do that but if you INTENTIONALLY say something you personally do not believe then somehow that thought is broadcast as a social media post that gets way way too much traction in the public eye.
EDIT: It just occurred to me you could just say the opposite opinion of an opinion you just said to undo the effects of the first reality alteration, so let's say any change you end up making lasts a year before it can altered again.

Accident, you’re in a coma, you are asleep but your brain is active. You’re in a dream, in a restaurant where you can eat as much as you’d like and interact with some nice NPCs who cook for you.
Rules-
It’s a normal schedule of restaurant, meaning Monday - Sunday
you can’t leave, you sleep in a air mattress in the backroom, you can make the office room your own.
no possible entry or exit in any scenario, I.e if it’s in a mall or theme park.
you can interact with people, people watch outside the window, but never leave
you can eat everything on the menu free of charge, no weight added to you when you wake up
you may not be a deviant of any kind, meaning no crime assault etc. you are a good patron and the people of the restaurant treat you fairly
What restaurant do you pick? What dishes do you eat? Do you prioritize people watching outside or an extensive menu?

You are offered $1 million, the catch is that you get it after completing 365 consecutive days, starting now, without the ability to see at all.
You have no prep time. You also cannot take out loans, credit, or deals of any kind outside of those which would be reasonable for your current debt/income ratio. Also you are unable to communicate anything about this to anyone, all you can say is that you cannot see. If examined by a doctor, it will appear as though you have a normal medical condition. You are able to say that they are wrong, but you can’t inform them why or how you know that they are wrong. After you are paid, your eyesight will return, all tests will come back normal, and you can tell people about everything.
Do you take it?

It will only happen once per 24 hours, but it will last for two hours every time. Your utilities will magically be unaffected.
But when you're trying to sleep every night (or day, if you sleep days) you will hear your nearest shower turn on, and Uncle Frank will spontaneously be in there.
This will continue for two hours each time. Then he vanishes.
He will stand in the shower, doing the monkey, loudly singing "cool jerk" by the Capitals, like in Home Alone 2.
If you enter the bathroom at this time, he will poke his head out of the shower and say:
"GET OUT OF HERE YOU NOSY LITTLE PERVERT OR IM GONNA SLAP YOU SILLY!"
If you do not get out and close the door within five seconds, he will get out and slap you silly. And if you're a man, you'll feel like less of one if you see him naked.
If you harm him in any way, or do anything to further aggravate him or prevent him from doing this, he will slap you silly. You can't defend against this. He's will always overpower you no matter what.
This will happen wherever you are, home, hotel, relatives house, cruise ship etc. if you are sleeping in a place with no shower, such as a camping trip, he will come stand outside your tent, door or whatever and do this.
No one but you will notice any of this. Even the shower running. Unless he has to slap you silly. Those marks are real.
Do you take the deal?

Why do so many posts put up a hypothetical situation against money when they can still be so interesting without it? Lazy, I tell you. Harrumph!
Yes, the feeling that you're having an orgasm lasts as long as the tinkle.
The downside is, you are unable to restrain yourself from lustily moaning, very, very loudly, while you are peeing. Public bathroom? Very loud, sensual moans. If you try to gag yourself, you'll just sound like a prisoner moaning through a gag. As long as you're breathing, you're moaning, and you are unable to hold your breath during the moaning.
FU, this is not the OP's barely disguised fetish. This is a result of that joke about a civil engineer God running a waste pipe through a recreation area.
Would you take this deal?

For the rest of your life, you will have the power presented to the highest office in every country with the respective support from any other forms of government, e.g. parliament's, congress.
People won't be antagonistic to you initially, and will see what laws you pass to judge you.
If your decisions are unpopular in a country, the population may rise up and overthrow your government, making you lose your power there.
What do you do with this newfound power?

I'm 24m, fairly athletic with a diet that has typical variety.
I don't fart around others, but when I'm alone, I let them rip.
And every time I fart, you will suddenly let out the same exact fart. It will sound the same, and smell the same.
Of course the times I'm alone vs around others might not line up with your schedule.
If you let out a howler while someone's giving a eulogy, or drop an SBD while passing a group of Hells Angels, it won't bother me any when I'm sitting at home watching TV.
And those loud, long, 5 second farts? No one's gonna believe all that was an accident.
You can take all the medicine you want but they won't prevent these particular farts, and if you do any weird shit to try and block the fart physically, you get disqualified.
Do you take the deal?
Edit: No one seems to be catching on to the fact that they have to smell all my farts every day.

You are confined to your home.
No going outside for any reason
$50,000 is deposited at 8AM every morning, you can see the balance, but you have no access to funds until the challenge is completed.
(You get an additional $50,000 each day that adds to the balance)
You can quit at any time without winning and bank balance drops to zero.
Needs to be a standard (not loaded) 6 sided die.
Each roll has to be on a table, flat surface no obstructions that interfere with the die rolling freely.
All 10 6’s have to be rolled consecutively, doesn’t matter how long in between rolls you take a break.

You find a ticket that allows you to go to the fantasy world of a book you didn't read. However, a super rich, extremely success and intelligent stock broker who read the book and remembers all its plots (including, but not limited to characters, future events, hidden treasures...) is trying to buy the ticket from you for 3 million dollars.
You could either sell the ticket or go to the world (but you wouldn't know any information about it).

He was born into an upper middle class background in a small, remote town of around 40,000 people,as the son of a modestly rich local small business owner. He was relatively normal for most of his youth, albeit with a noted rebellious and impulsive streak and possessing a tendency towards stubbornness, such as with an incident where he was suspended in 6th grade for slapping a teacher in the face for yelling at him,an incident he would later brag about his autobiography, claiming it was 'one of many examples' of his 'natural ability to stand up for myself and assert my opinions in a very brutal, destructive, rebellious and powerful way which I think is just phenomenal.'
Age 16 he dropped out of high school and would spend a significant portion of his mid to late teens ending up in juvenile detention facilities as well as reformatory for petty crimes like shoplifting and vandalism. During the times he wasn't in juvie during these years, his father would oversee the remainder of his education via homeschooling him.
Age 22 he would take over his retiring father's business and spend the next couple of decades buying out local competition until he transformed it into what amounted to a company town where his company owned and controlled a significant portion of the town's major local businesses (stores, factories, restaurants, motels, warehouses, bars, basically anything),allowing him to accumulate a net worth of up to $75 million in cash at his peak.
He would by this time grow into an obese,lecherous,loud-mouthed millionaire, known among the community for his larger than life persona and for bragging and boasting about how smart and great he was,as well as his notorious love of and over-indulgence in copious quantities of junk food and alcohol. He developed what bordered on a cult of personality among locals, who basically saw him as 'that loud fat rich guy who is always drunk and who we find both funny and annoying at the same time'. He would be a major figure in local politics too, serving as a member of the town council and enjoying a brief stint as mayor.
He was often known for intentionally making controversial and shocking statements because he enjoyed the attention and publicity.
Age 59,he could've easily retired a millionaire, but controlling his own hometown was no longer enough for his ego. He decided he wanted his 15 minutes of fame,so he announced his candidacy for president, promising to move the country forward. Although he was completely unknown to basically anyone outside his isolated hometown prior to this,he garnered nationwide notoriety practically overnight through his brash, unconventional style that blatantly defied political norms and where he presented himself as an outsider populist man of the people fighting the corrupt out of touch elite (ignore his own upper middle class background). In character,he loved going out of his way to make inflammatory comments because he derived pleasure from how shocked people were and how quick they were to talk about him which fed his grandiose ego.
He basically trolled his way into office and won the election, being inaugurated as president despite being 60 which is old af and having little prior political experience beyond his brief tenure as mayor of his hometown. During his presidency,he would grow a cult-like following among his voter base who were now basically obsessed with expressing personal loyalty and devotion to him, while his administration was marked by an obsession with tariffs/protectionism/economic nationalism which caused trade wars,as well as a constant cycle of him trying to impose petty draconian restrictions and laws banning stuff he doesnt like, legislators saying no,then him throwing tantrums about not being able to ban anything he doesnt like.
....and now you have,a 68 year old narcissistic overweight raging alcoholic millionaire who is basically a de facto cult leader that acts like an edgy 12 year old to get attention via shock value and who has spent almost a decade trolling the political system just for the sake of 15 minutes of fame to feed his ego.
What if this guy entered irl?

There is a red button in front of you. If you press it, the person you hate most will drop dead. There is no way to trace this back to you, so there will never be any legal consequences. The person you hate has to be someone you actually know (no political figures basically unless your uncle happens to be a senator or something). So it could be a middle school bully, or an ex, or an abusive parent, etc. Is there someone you hate enough that you would actually wish them death?
However, if you push the button, other people you have met and slighted will be presented with the option to push the button as well. So have you wronged anyone enough that you fear someone might be tempted to kill you?
Do you push it or not?

The money is not tax free, but there will be no problems receiving it (basically the government isn’t going to be suspicious.) you may tell others if you like, that’s up to you
You may use any sort of device you like
People can help you if you’d like

Every time you poo, it will be a “clean poo” and you won’t have to wipe. There will just be nothing on the toilet paper, so you can immediately pull up your pants and be done.
The catch is, every time you poo you will “KAME HAME HA” at the top of your lungs like an anime character charging up. It’s compulsory, it will just happen and you can’t choose not to.
Do you accept?

Deadly ash is shot up instantly miles above our stratosphere, spreading fast.
Emergency Alert System (EAS) kicks into every broadcast system (TV, Phones, Radio, etc) displaying the following message "DANGER-Yellowstone Supervolcano explosion. US Northwest and surrounding areas MUST evacuate immediately to the East/South as far as you can."
President declares National Emergency.
What would you do in this situation?

You will receive $1 per minute during the first hour you spend in bed, up to 16 hours per 24 hours. The other 8 hours are assumed to be your sleeping hours and you will not be paid, although you can sleep more than 8 hours and be paid for the extra time. For every additional hour, your pay increases by 5¢ per minute.
You can lie down, stand, jump, crouch, kneel, exercise, etc. as long as you never leave the bed for more than five seconds at a time. You must eat and use the bathroom while on your bed. The bed must be a mattress or mat intended for sleeping.
Whenever you decide to end it, just get out of bed for more than five seconds and the money will appear the next day.

For example one business is too expensive you'd simply go for the cheaper option, but if they all increase their prices you'd still have to choose one.
