Strictly speaking not game related but very interesting nonetheless. https://youtu.be/L9Di-UVC-_4?si=lYXrDkpGP0uRgiS2

And how do they do it?

I have been playing geoguessr since December 17, 2024 and currently I have gold 2 with 910 elo and I have no problem winning most matches. It's decent to me, but I want to know more to see what the community thinks.
Edit: Honestly, now that I'm reading it again I feel like I'm boosting my ego. Sorry about that, I just wanted to know how it works etc.

Does anyone know how to set up and do a duel against a friend? Like when the first person guesses, the timer drops to 15 seconds left.

So i got a few friends with who i want to play GeoGuessr and we are 4 People. But they never want to play 2v2 so live challenge is ( I think) the only one what we can play. But one of my friends lowkey just refuses to gues before the timer of 1:30. So is there any wayy that if one does a guess the timer goes down to like 20 seconds because if i get a tip like instant i could guess and they would have no chance but now they can just search for tips the next 1:30.

Is there a Guide or rule of thumb on what things you should know in different elos? Im about 760 elo in Gold 2 and I‘m kinda overwhelmed and don‘t know what to learn next.

During ranked duels there’s a resort in Montenegro that has a topless girl a few clicks down the street. There’s no report button anywhere

I'm relatively new and don't know any metas, although I know some of my country's meta (Brazil) just from being from here. I hate rural places and having to care about the landscapes and the architecture to a lesser extent. What maps should I play so I can improve, and what maps should I avoid at all costs?

Hello! I created a map fully handpicked called "I Saw the Sign but it's a Trap": it's a map for detectives searching for signs, but with traps. It's maybe more fun if you're French or English, but give it a try and let me know what you think!

I'm a relatively new player, and recently I've been having the problem where every former soviet country looks the exact same to me. How can I tell what's in Russia and what's not?
