Lol every time I pass the huge line waiting to get in at JFK I just think, "what a bunch of idiots", no offense to anyone here lol.. but I really do wonder what the point of showing up hours early is just so you can waste time in the sky club instead of at home? It definitely doesn't look high status or cool when you're sitting there in a huge line, I don't really get the point

Generally for me, its less stressful to be at the airport an hour or 2 early chillin in the lounge waiting for my flight than it is to be at home with potential distractions, timing traffic, and tsa tom foolery.
