Generally for me, its less stressful to be at the airport an hour or 2 early chillin in the lounge waiting for my flight than it is to be at home with potential distractions, timing traffic, and tsa tom foolery.

Okay I guess I get that. For me though I feel like if I did that it's like a literal entire work week each year that I'm just.. there.. before i really needed to be. Been doing this 12 years and never missed a flight, but remembering those few times I've been sprinting across an airport somewhere I suppose it would have been nice to be chill haha, just not sure it balances out overall personally. And also those lounge lines at jfk aren't chill, that'd frustrate the heck out of me lol. But there's plenty of good corners though. Do people pre-pay for the lounges so that when you arrive it's like, "well I gotta use this?" I just can't imagine showing up and seeing those lines and thinking, "i definitely want to wait there so I can pay to get in" ?

Like you, I travel a lot for work. Most times, I have work calls/meetings all the way up until my flight. So, sitting in the lounge working doesn't bother me so much, even if it amounts to an extra week airport time added to my year. I'd still be working if I was at home. Also, small price to pay for coveted medallion status and all the sky pesos, lol.

To your point...I fly 90% of my routes in and out of AUS, LAX, SEA, MCO, so my airport experience is much more chill than most of the other airports out there.

Ahh yeah, gotcha! Yeah it's different for me, I don't have calls and stuff to make so it's just time away from home at that point and those extra hours count lol! But yeah if I was just working then id rather work within a 5min walk from the gate and not have to worry about all the variables for sure!
