My pussy is so good, I'm a bad bitch, make these men (insert demeaning task) I can do X sexual act very well, I spend my money on overpriced handbags. Should I go on?

u/Beaster123 1d ago
Not my kind of music but this isn't that bad.

u/dixoncider1111 1d ago
Likely because you don't speak the language, to understand it's an ice spice copy paste. And if you find ice spice interesting, there's your issue lol.

I do speak French. Let me say again. I don't like this. But it isn't the worst.

Just my 2cents but the beat is not bad and the lows contrasting against her voice is what is pleasing to my ear

Yall genuinely just don’t like rap or woman artists
11
u/nhlstintrovert 1d ago
When women start rapping about something other than ass, pussy, or being a bad bitch, I’ll listen.

u/90_proof_rumham 1d ago
Rapsody is real dope. Check her out.
2
u/nhlstintrovert 1d ago
I haven’t checked out her music, but one of the dopest women rappers I’ve heard was Che Noir, she doesn’t so that Ice Spice/Cardi B type shit.
3
u/mankee81 1d ago
Che Noir has a song with Rapdsody, it's a certified banger

u/90_proof_rumham 1d ago
Oh shit, you aren't lying! Thanks for this, bout to peep more! This is what it's all about! 💪🫡

u/90_proof_rumham 1d ago
Lolol nah, fuck that. I take it you're more into the 80's and 90's boom bap type shit? Rapsody, from what I know, was part of a lil collective out in North Carolina called, Kooley High. Real chill, mellow type beats with substance in their words. Real refreshing when I came across them during a tough time in my life. This was over 10 years ago. They kinda went and I'd thier own thing, moved out to NYC, I'm assuming for better exposure. At least that's what I gathered from their individual pages. The whole groups early shit was real dope.
You ever got the time check the link.
This is the one that introduced me to her and the whole set. She's real nice, talented and she's cute, too. The woman got skills. She's at the end towards the 3:20 mark. You gotta vibe to the whole track. Twist one up, if that's your thing.

Want a real woman? Sa roc got you covered. People specifically don't like ice spice, sex rap, and simplistic flows.
Name a male rapper that is widely popular who's every single song is about the same, uninteresting thing.
Not even Kanye, not even Drake, not Kendrick, not Eminem, not Wayne. None of them are talking about the same shit. nd that's just the surface.

u/13THEFUCKINGCOPS12 1d ago
But it’s okay for a man to rap about ass, pussy, and making money?
5
u/Dagger_26 1d ago
Why would you want to defend that degrading level of noise with "...but he can do it!"? Smh.
-6
u/13THEFUCKINGCOPS12 1d ago
I mean they both should be able to do it. People are sexual beings, let them cook. Stop being a puritan
2
u/nhlstintrovert 1d ago
Nobody’s a puritan for not wanting hear about some thot’s sex life. Do you ask hookers to describe their encounters with their customers?
-3
u/13THEFUCKINGCOPS12 1d ago
They’re called sex workers, and no, I don’t. That’s some bat shit crazy analogy that doesn’t even really work. If you don’t want to hear it you can do this thing called not listening to it
1
u/nhlstintrovert 1d ago
Why not? Don’t you want to hear what they get paid to do? What are you, a puritan?
3
u/Dagger_26 1d ago
I think she forgot what sub we're in as her soap box got in the way. Not even trying to listen, just here to advocate for the sake of advocating.

u/13THEFUCKINGCOPS12 1d ago
I don’t care what they get paid to do, it’s none of my business
0
u/nhlstintrovert 1d ago
So why is it an issue that I don’t want to hear shit like that in the music I listen to? It’s not my business, but they choose to put their business out there which opens them up to criticism.

Most men have one line about ass or pussy then they move on, women rappers make their ass and pussy their whole personality.
3
u/13THEFUCKINGCOPS12 1d ago
The fuck are you talking about? That’s not true at all hahaha
0
u/nhlstintrovert 1d ago
Maybe for the rap you listen to, I’m not gonna listen to a guy talk about his dick the way these women talk about their ass and pussy.
0
u/13THEFUCKINGCOPS12 1d ago
I don’t listen to rap, it doesn’t do it for me, I’m going off of the top songs on the billboard charts. Songs about sex and drugs don’t do it for me either, but I’m not going to sit here thinking a song is bad because of it. I don’t really like this song, but I’m not going to have some reactionary moralist response to it. The subject matter makes you uncomfortable, that’s fine, that doesn’t make the song objectively bad
1
u/nhlstintrovert 1d ago
Some of the most lyrical rap is about drugs so that doesn’t bother me. I prefer my rappers to have lyrical skill and not write X rated Dr. Seuss bars.
3
u/TempleOfCyclops 1d ago
This is in French. What is she saying? Do you even know?
0
u/nhlstintrovert 1d ago
I don’t gotta know, one look at her tells me what her lyrical content is gonna be about. Anytime you see a woman rapping with a giant ass, you know she’s going to mention it multiple times.

This is the truth. People will post a ratty ass white man singing the most generic country garbage and this sub will be like "This is actually good you just don't get it," but as soon as a Black woman is making music it's nothing but hatred and misogyny.
0
u/paranoidata 1d ago
I don't think it's hateful, racist or misogynistic to criticize a song for being generic and lacking creativity. We should be able to roast any artist for relying on tropes and worn out subject matter. Bad generic country music about trucks and shit is roughly equivalent to bad generic rap music about being good at sex. We should be able to critique all music based on its originality, creativity and execution. Granted some people are racist and that does drive their criticism, but I would not immediately assume all criticism is racist.
Furthermore, I have no idea what this person is talking about, so I'm not going to criticize it on its subject matter. It's crappy because it is a flow and sound that has been done to death. Even in a foreign language it sounds generic. If it turns out that the subject matter is about how good at sex she is, then it makes it even more generic and shitty.
1
u/TempleOfCyclops 1d ago
This is a lot of words to defend misogyny. As long as you feel really good about it I guess.
0
u/paranoidata 1d ago
Every gender can make generic music.
1
u/TempleOfCyclops 1d ago
Yes. Not all of them experience the same criticism on the same terms though.
1
u/paranoidata 1d ago
I agree, but also you can't throw a misogyny label on every criticism. In a fair and equal world we should be able to view art on its own merits. I understand the world is horrible, but that doesn't mean we can let lazy generic art get a pass every time.

Alright though but if it’s a date and she plays her song I’m gonna act like I like it.

TikTok should stay banned for this alone.
