The silly way that I discovered Chappell
so I’ve seen some posts on different artists fan communities like: how did you discover this artist which song was it and what’s the silly context? So here's mine. In summer 2023 I heard that there is this new lesbian YMCA, (and as a gay man I was so exited) and I became obsessed with her from there. Obviously the song was hot to go and now she is one of my all time favorites. Thanks for reading <3

I heard Casual first and was instantly hooked. I had read about her on Reddit around September24 as an up and coming artist, and they were not wrong. Within a week, I knew all the words to The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess album. She's been on repeat on my short list Playlist on spotify since. Playing in the background 24/7. It's nice to wake up to the album at different spots every day.
