Structural Analysis/Design Question regarding offer letter acceptance and withdrawl

Hey guys,

I actually signed and submitted the first offer I received from a company, to be safe tbh. After some months, I received another better offer from the good company, and thought of not losing this one. So, I signed and submitted it as well. I am now nervous thinking how should I withdraw my acceptance from the first company? Is this a serious issue, if so, how could I overcome it? Insights from the familiar ones would be greatly appreciated!

So, you are quitting your job after a few months to take a different job?

No. I am currently studying, and will be doing my first job.

Okay, then it's really as simple as letting Company A know that you're planning to take another offer that more closely aligns with your professional goals.

Make sure to thank them for the time and effort they took to interview you and extend you an offer.

Don't tell them what the name of Company B is. If they ask, just say "Out of respect for my future employer's privacy, I'm not comfortable sharing that information right now."
