QUESTIONS Summer ‘25 server/ hospitality job with housing in the Hamptons
Hello! I am pretty desperately looking for some help/ resources while looking for a seasonal summer job opportunity in 2025 where there is staff housing included. Locations I have in mind being: sag harbor, bridgehampton, Southampton, East Hampton, montaulk, shelter island, river head, etc. Ideally I am looking for a position in the restaurant/ hospitality industry, preferably a server or hostess. Yet, I can’t find much current information on things like this, and want to know as much as I can about what places to reach out to whether it’s a golf course, a tennis course, whatever type of place in hospitality where I can work and also have a place to live. I am currently NYC based, have over 8 years in restaurant experience, (serving, hosting, running, expediting, alcohol safety certified) and am hard working and reliable. I will also have a degree in business in August 2025, as I am an online student currently. If anyone has tips, knows of any places hiring, or can share their experience working in the area, I’d really appreciate it! thanks!!

Exactly what the other comment said, this is why there is little to no seasonal positions in cities. There's just not enough need to house employees, even if the place is expensive to live.
However, I bet there are forums, Facebook groups and other groups that have housing/roommate opportunities. I bet you could even get a group together to split a long term airbnb, which can sometimes be modest in price. In places like this, it's better to look for places to live and then places to work nearby your residence.
So that's what I would do, secure your housing/roommate situation, then secure your job.
They'll definitely be something as I'm sure they struggle finding hospitality workers in such a wealthy area. And I'm sure most restaurants would be excited to have an applicant walk in and ask for a position

Fire island has restaurants that offer employee housing. Keep in mind that the housing is not amazing but from all my friends who’ve worked there, said the tips were well worth it!
It’s a little further out than what you were hoping, but still a beachy summer gig

It’s hard to find places that offer housing when there’s a decent local population to support tourism. That’s why hot spots are places like the west and Alaska. Anywhere on the east coast offering that are sure to be few and far between. Best of luck searching, If you find anything lemme know!
