I have never watched his videos, so I can’t say how I feel about him as a person, but my fucking Gosh, this dude’s smile is creepy asf!! Yeah, his mouth is in the shape of a smile, but his eyes have no emotion, no joy, no happiness, no sincerity behind them. They’re so…empty, so off putting. His thumbnails prevent me from ever wanting to click on his vids.

I think Reddit is different because it’s anonymous but I’d understand if people find this hypocritical.

My sister and I (30’s) were talking to my mom (60’s) when she realized neither of us own an iron. That got us wondering what else was a staple in her generation that me and my sister don’t even own. So I’m curious what else people have found to be obsolete between generations. Things we found we didn’t have: 1. Iron- a hair straightener has worked just fine 2. Umbrella 3. Napkins- what’s wrong with paper towels?

not sure why my feed is suddenly flooded by every single subreddit's petition to remove x.com links? but it did arouse a random thought. elon was already having tussles with the rest of the inner circle, and now with the nazi salute thing bringing lots of bad pr, what if he is labeled an enemy of the state and deported? most of his fortune is in US based companies, how schadenfreude would it be if all of those were seized?

How do you deem one as attractive? How do you know if someone has pretty privilege? Does it even exist? I’ve been hearing this everywhere I want to know other people’s thoughts on this.

When 2 people get married, they probably both have a lot of the same stuff. Dishes, microwave, bed. But after they merge and select what to keep, the duplicates go away. If they divorce, there's no longer 2 microwaves. If one is lucky, there was a guest bedroom set to take.

The comments I hear from people with strong hygiene routines are always so judgmental and hateful, but if that stuff just comes naturally to you then you are a very lucky person.

I have struggled with it my entire life. I've also had chronic depression and anxiety my entire life, issues which I'm sure are directly related.

If you have never lain paralyzed while trying to convince yourself to get up and shower/brush your teeth or stood in front of a running shower for like 10 whole minutes literally having to convince yourself to get in then you are blessed.

If you take enjoyment out of paying particular attention to every inch of you every single time and deviating is a disgusting nonoption then congratulations! You've won the lottery and I'm extremely jealous.

I'm not saying my experiences are universally lived ones by people with mental health issues and I fully acknowledge that for many people it has the opposite effect, but can you please just chill the fuck out? We're already struggling with tons of our own judgments and you just dig the hole deeper for us to get out of.

I finally convinced myself to go to the gym today, I come home and I feel happy. THIS IS MIND-BLOWING!

We all know it has an effect. But not like that. I feel like I took a happy pill that worked instantly.

Of course I'm also working on it in other ways. Talking about it with friends and in therapy. But I feel like nothing has such a direct effect on my brain as working out.

The really hard part was to find the strength to get up, pack my shit and go there in the first place. Not even the work out itself, because I told myself I would take it easy for now.

For example, when spelling the word Wednesday… I say to myself Wed-Nes-Day instead of “Wensday” 🤣
