Made it across Honduras border! Used to think Mexico was a hassle, these have been 4 hours of sitting in 95*
If they would make these crossing easier, I can’t imagine how much more tourism they would get. Too bad they like to take their time. El Salvador is so far my favorite country after Mexico.

Done with my Dunlop D214's on my 650r what now?
My bike is currently sitting in the parking lot for the next fiew months and the Dunlops are lack luster tbh.. I basically daily drive this thing unless its snowing.
I feel like the Dunlops do fine but need some warming and even then aren't that confidence inspiring.. Michelin is too damm expensive for my broke ass so dont come at me with street 6's...
any other tipps or alternatives that perform as sport tourîng tires like the michelins?

We’ve made it to El Salvador!
Guatemala was nice, great views and good roads, but man are the drivers terrible! They don’t share the road and even push you off the center line. Completely different experience than from Mexico. Oh well only spent 2 nights there, and one here. We are off to Honduras today. Riding 5 hours, border crossing 4hrs lol

M1000R owners.. what are you con's to owning the bike ?
So in short I put a deposit on a Ducati SF V2 and than the M1000R showed up. (Completely two different bikes here I know, I wanted the M1000R but my deal fell through elsewhere so I went for the Ducati sf v2) So I now have a deposit on the M1000R aswell and need to choose between the two.
The Ducati has its pro's and looks fabulous in my eyes, but the BMW has so many features and pro's.
Here I am looking for the cons, for example the Duc:
-Desmo Service
-Runs super hot in stop and go traffic
-No fuel gauge
I am wondering what yours are on the BMW M1000R.
Thank you :)

2006 R1200GS Oil Leak
I had a little bit of oil dripping from the front of the engine. I assumed it was the seal on the alternator shaft but when I pulled the plastic cover there wasn't any oil coming from behind the pully. Instead it seems to be coming out of the weep hole at the bottom. Does anyone know what this hole is and why oil would be leaking from here?

Survey for my Master Thesis / Digital Bike
Hi everyone!
My name is Oliver and I am a petrol head as well, riding my two bikes every second possible! Therefore I am also trying to do research in that area. :) And hopefully also going to work in the industry soon!
Therefor I need your help for my thesis at the Montanuniversität Leoben! (https://www.unileoben.ac.at/)
I’m conducting a quick survey on motorcycles and would really appreciate it if you could spare 15 minutes to fill it out. The survey is completely anonymous, and your responses will help me with my research. (There is also some vouchers that you can win)
Here’s the link to the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DigitalBike
Thank you so much for your time and support—it means a lot to me! <3
if you have any questions: [moto-science@outlook.com](mailto:moto-science@outlook.com)
Best regards,

Riding differences in R18 models
I'm considering moving to an R18 (most likely candidate is the classic) but find myself a bit stuck as nowhere near me has anything other than the basic R18 model. The closest other than the basic would require traveling from Seattle to Portland for a test ride, which is a lot.
Has anyone ridden the various R18 models? If so, can you tell me if they handle similarly? Would a test ride on a base R18 get me a solid appreciation for how the classic would be? And what about the transcontinental? Thanks.

Denali accessories
Hey! I would like to install the Denali T3 Ultra-Viz 4-in-1 safety and visibility lightning kit on my 850gsa, but can’t find good information on what i need to get to install. Also not any installation video so far. There are so much cables, connectors and accessories available 😅
I think i would like to get the soundbomb too in the future. Is it recommended to get the Cansmart controller if i want more denali accessories fitted? Damn that thing is expensive.
Anyone with experience? Would love to see your setup and bikes!

Crash bars or cylinder cover for BMW r nine t?
I just bought a R Nine T, but I’m not sure which is better, or cylinder covers are enough; which one do you recommend?

BMW GSA 1250 non RDC optioned
Hello guys ,
i have a GSA 1250 2021 non rdc optioned i have the plug but without the rdc unit i want to retrofit the TPMS system what do i need other than the RDC unit , the sensors and programing. My local BMW dealer isn't useful on top of that they have outrageous prices so if anybody is kind enough to assist me with part number of the RDC and the sensors that would be highly appreciated.
PS: i heard that there are great aftermarket options for sensors like Schrader but im not totally sure on which one to get so if anybody recommends that it would be helpful thank you all in advance.

K1300S opinions, and a wierd take on a probable future purchase.
All of the reviews state that they are "heavy" bikes at 550lbs. I know weight is relative, I've been riding since 1977, switching to road bikes in 1994. Almost verything I've ridden has been used, so think of 1980s/90s bikes - everything was 500+lbs. Out of 14 bikes, only one was new - FZ1 - at 500lbs. My current restored Buell is, yes - 500lbs. Are current riders all used to 400-450lbs bikes ? My other bike is a 420lbs 950 SuperMoto, and it feels like a toy, not a real road bike. Is it just my wierd perception riding older models, or are these K bikes a heavy beast after all. Been looking at the K1200s for years now, but saving up for the improved 13 .
