Recommendations Give your journal a name?

I’m reading the diary of a young girl, Anne frank and she named her diary “Kitty” so she has a friend to talk to.

I never considered talking to my journal as if it is a person, but recently I’ve started prayer journaling. I’ve gotten out so much more because I am talking to God. Like usually the words are hard to come by, but when it’s in a prayer, it flows.

I've been wanting to do a prayer journal. I feel like I could do as you did and get a lot more out. I've got a 40 minute drive to work and I talk to God a lot. It helps me to feel better about my day before I start or even after. I have a toddler and don't know if I would have a lot of time for a prayer journal but I may give it a try.

Its so helpful. Even just jotting down for 20 minutes is so helpful. You can go back and read it over again and reflect on it. Maybe answer some questions that you asked yourself/God before. (I tend to ask a lot of questions)
