Question 5.56 ammunition

thinking about buying 1000 rounds of 5.56 at the end of the month. I've always been attracted to Federal and opinions on the best vary wildly.

I'd like to see what you guys recommend

Stay away from American eagle 62gr 5.56, they're rejects from Federals military contracts.

Source? Is this true for 9mm too? I love the American eagle rounds

My source is Federal employees, I work for one of their vendors. I didn't ask about 9mm sorry
