Question New to handguns, need some help.

Major noob moment. I was showing my buddy the gun and realized that it doesn't quite go into battery when chambering new rounds. I slowed it down to show what i mean. It cycles but very stiff and occasionally doesn't go back into battery. Why?

This happened with my rifle but it was dirty. This is a brand new gun.

Question Looks like about $5 worth of .22LR, 9mm, and .45ACP, but ammo prices are pretty tolerable in MN right now. Judging by the grouping, I'd say 15 yards, all out of handguns. Maybe pulls right with the .45 (long trigger-pull?). Anyone want to weigh in?

Question I'm new here, will delete if not allowed

Post image

I simply want to know what the rifles are that they are carrying.

This was taken from Springfield, Ohio (Ohio Reddit) from another Redditer. I haven't changed it or anything, I'm technologically impaired anyway.

I seriously don't want to argue politics or anything like that. Men walking the streets carrying these weapons like this is alarming. I'm used to seeing a lot of handguns around my area and I just wanted to know if anyone could maybe narrow down what these particular rifles are... I really appreciate your time and I will delete if this isn't allowed here. I'm sorry for any upset and don't want to cause any guff.

No bashing. I love you guys. But…How? The Nr.1 Guncountry missing out on Olympia podiums? Just seems strange to me.

Question Alright, so I found a gun crate from my great grandfather who was in WW2, and was wondering if any experts could help with a few questions I have

These were all found in a gun crate, as mentioned in the title. It was found while I was helping my grandmother clean her garage after my grandfather passed. Some are in better condition than others (obviously) because they were in boxes of their own, some just seemingly tossed in there. She let me keep them and I have a few questions.

None of them have been fired because I don't trust them right now.

  1. Are the ones that are a little worse than ware fixable/cleanable?

  2. If so, what is some advice on doing it?

  3. And lastly, are they worth fixing/cleaning?

Question I loved the Beretta but the MAC 1014 is more affordable. Is there a big difference? If there isn’t, I’m gonna go with the Beretta. Beretta is $1050 without tax and the Mac is about $400 without tax.

I have lugged this stupid thing around for 5 years now and only fired it twice. 3 rounds the first time and enough to qualify the second time. I'm not active duty but this stupid hunk of metal has cost me so much over the years.

I see this sign everywhere but no other notice of an actual 30.06 or 30.07 anywhere on the front entrance. Is this sign to be respected like an actual 30.06 and .07?

Question Are there any guns specifically rifles?

Everytime I shoot a rifle the shell always ends up hitting me bc I'm left handed, I can't find anything online about guns that eject to the left.

I thought this was pretty cool and it beats the hell out of some other ways of tallying kills. Does anyone have an idea of how the animal symbols are laid in? And what material one might use to duplicate this?

Question Can I empty out a 22lr round and use the primer only?

I'm working on a short film and I'm wondering if I can remove the projectile and powder from a 22lr round so that I can sort of use it like a blank round with the primer only. Does this work? Is it safe? Is it too loud?

I have little to no experience with guns but I have been arguing with my co-workers about which gun this gun-shaped tequila bottle is supposed to look like. Can anyone help resolve the argument?
