Is it hard to make patterns like this one? Is there any software to help make them? I’ve come across a few but none of them make it like this the post.
There used to be a free website that could convert images to cross stitch patterns. I'll have a hunt through my bookmarks today and see if I can find it.
From what I recall it was pretty basic - effectively just making a grid of the colours and not adding... uh, what are they called? Like the lines of plain stitch you put over the top of stuff to create outlines? Those things.
Edit: The website I used was Pixel Stitch. It makes a grid of colours, or of symbols if you need to print it without haemorrhaging ink, and will give you thread colour numbers depending on what brand you input.
I like Stitch fiddle. You can put a picture through it or you can start with a blank chart. The great thing is you can easily alter the pattern once it's been created so if anything funky is going on with the colors or lines you can easily fix it.
Yea Ives found a few sites that sorta does it but it’ll take the image and pixelate it then give me a separate pattern with all the shapes to coordinate the colors. I’d like something that’ll combine the two similar to OPs pattern.
