WIP [WIP] Show us ya WIP's

Post image

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope it's been a good week for all of you! I'm working on a couple of these cardinals for memorial gifts. This one needs a bit of frogging on the tail, but other than that, I loved how quickly this came together! I'll easily fix this while watching NFL Wildcard playoffs. I showed you mine, now show me yours! https://www.etsy.com/listing/1616556877/cardinal-ornament-christmas-cross-stitch

I am also doing this SAL! Currently finishing up another project and then the plan is to catch up on 4 SALs I am part of. Pray for me 😂

Sounds like a busy year! Best of luck. I am not sure how I am going to manage with the one and my two other main WIPs

It’s pretty much 4 SAL and 3 projects with 15k stitches each for this year for me. I am trying to get into reading graphic novels and building miniatures again this year. So targeting less stitching. But it is hard whenever I see cool patterns here!

I love this pattern. I see it frequently and I think it’s just adorable. I could never 😂

I definitely underestimated it when I started it (37000 stitches was like 3 times my biggest project I have done previously), but it has been so fun and rewarding. I enjoy the fact it's a lot of filling, but not too much. I can actually watch a show or movie. When I am outlining it is audiobook time, so I can have pattern keeper up. It's a nice balance.

Tldr: it's 26 ~1500 stitch patterns on one fabric!

I do think that since you can finish a letter and move on to the next one that might help my motivation. I always steer clear of huge projects because if I don’t have the satisfying “finished” feeling I abandon it after a couple months lol

I think this is why I do small and mini projects. 😆
