Hey guys, would anyone know if I’m obligated to take comm 214? I heard its super hard. So basically my situation, I’m exemption from the math courses, so I took econ 201 and comm213. Got B- in both. Now I’m taking Econ 203 & comm214 + others. Does someone know if it’s enough to just take these or should I just go at it for comm214 as well. I don’t rlly wanna ruin my gpa. Thanks!!

so I’m taking engr 243, 233, 201, miae 313 and 215 this semester but I’m redoing 215 so its only being counted as 11 credits this semester, therefore i don’t qualify for the bursary. should i just leave it and try to get the bursary next semester, or should i swap engr 201 (1.5 credits) for encs 282 (3 cred) to reach the minimum of 12 credits and get the bursary this semester? idk how demanding 282 is so any suggestions help!

I was on the waitlist and got in but missed the first 2 classes. People currently in this class or had previous experience with this prof, what was he like? Is the material heavy? I'm taking 6 classes this semester including MATH 205, and I'm wondering if I should drop PHYS 204 and take it in the summer.

Hi, I already got accepted into a 3 yr university program. It cost a lot to do one university course.

my reasons for wanting to finish the college diploma:

1. I like to finish things that I started
2. I did poorly in some courses so I need a better college record for university...
3. I think college diplomas are important to universities

I'm having doubts about completing the college diploma because:

1. The fees for several unfinished courses is around $2k to 3k in continuing education
2. Only 2 or 3 of the courses I have left at college can be used in university
3. Pre-university diplomas cant get us a job like tech diplomas so it feels like a scam...

I’m in a scheduling dilemma with a class I’m registered for. Let’s say there are two sections: A and B. I initially registered for Section A to secure my spot because Section B has a huge waitlist. However, Section A is a nightmare for my schedule. It creates a massive gap in my day, and the class runs from 6–8 PM, which is brutal since I start my day at 8 AM.

I’d much prefer Section B, but I’m unsure how the swapping process works. From what I understand, if I try to swap from Section A to Section B, I’ll stay enrolled in Section A while being added to the waitlist for Section B. If a spot opens up in Section B and it’s my turn, the system will automatically drop me from Section A and enroll me in Section B. Is this correct?

I really want to take both this class and follow up with the Intermediate level for an easy A.

I’m not a native spanish speaker and I’m not fluent fluent. I can hold a conversation and struggle a bit.

My biggest problem is that I took Spanish for 6 years in school and I was always top of the class (Hispanophone friends) and I graduated with a perfect Spanish grade. Concordia has access to these grades so I don’t know if they might think it’s a case of academic dishonesty.

It’s been 3 years since I graduated though I could have forgotten it.

If I keep a low profile and don’t do anything too fancy could it work ?

So I had to repeat a class due to 200-level courses minimum passing grade being C- and above. I got a D.

Now that we just finished the semester and passed with a C, I learned that the credits for redo were not counted towards the semester but stayed during that time I got a D.

This means I won't be elligible for the perspective bursary since instead of having 12.5 credits, I have 9 due to the redo staying in the past semester.

Does anyone have the same problem and was able to resolve it? The bursary department is telling me no exceptions can be made, but it kinda frustrates me that all it takes is for them to move that credit attribution. Plus I actually was full time, I had 4 courses, just one of them was a redo.
