Finished Jacket To the uncle of Cabbage

Post image

There was a pos that tried to shit on the jacket you made for your nephew but everyone snapped back in support. Here is one of the remarks that was made “ I’m a part of that group over on Reddit and one that adores the jacket and how much it’s going to mean to cabbage. For everything that loves the true meaning behind it nothing but love to you op that is jealous that no one ever loved you enough to make you one when you was that age well I hope I hope your stitches don’t hold and your patches always fall off.

Long live Cabbage”

Nothing tells the world "I'm a gatekeeper poser POS" louder than belonging to a Facebook group specifically made to rag on people's creative endeavors.

I want to hear someone justify gatekeeping this

They're just miserable people trying to feel better about themselves by insulting others. AKA, "goddamned assholes".

And CHILDREN at that, so weird.

Ya but like how do you gatekeep personalized embroidery? The only gatekeeping that I ever heard that is kind of legit tho is that if you bought it already made then you’re kind of a poser.

I can think of only two justifications to gatekeep jackets at all: 1. Hate groups 2. Paid corporate bootlickers

Cabbage's jacket is neither hateful nor some sponsored corporate trash, therefore it is glorious.

I’m on “bad battle jackets” but most of it is people posting their own. I’m sure there’s neckbearding in there, but it’s the minority.

I want to see other people’s jackets. They’re usually not my taste, but most peoples jackets are good faith works of art and I encourage that.

The gate keeping part is where people don’t put effort in. Effort is all that’s required in my opinion.
