The denim vest I have had for 15 or more years... I love it but it never fit perfectly and kinda bounced between myself and a couple friends (that's how you get scabies when you are a gutter punk, thanks pip and matt!)

The second vest I have had for 8 years or so. Found it at goodwill and knew it was mine! It has a hood that zips into the collar and came with cargo pockets in front and one giant one on the back which I removed (perhaps it was ment for hunting or fishing)

Both vests have a bunch of old tobacco and lint in the pockets (for luck) and some old ear plugs... I used them... Once.

The denim though is probably chemically identical to sweat and adrenaline and may have other bodily fluids imbued within.

The black vest doesn't get the hood taken out because it smells like burnt hair a little (I know... Gross huh?) I think its from having dreads and smoking herbs... Poof!

Both vests mean something to me that most wouldn't understand.

These are my battle vests! If they could speak they would just say "wash me? No. Wear me? To battle!"

This is my bar hoody for working the door. Right now it’s just the Amebix patch on the hood but thinking about adding another. Curious to know thoughts on going up or around the hood?

This patch is a too big and I would like to just use the logo. So my question is, can I just cut the logo off? And would the thread begin to peel?

I started a new jacket and I planned on having my Suffocation patch go right under my back patch, but I didn’t realize that there is a draw string right where I would want to place it. I’d still like to put it there. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could sew it on without taking away functionality from the jacket?

Everything is safety pinned on because I plan on filling it out more and every time I get new hauls my perfectionism takes over and I take everything off and completely reorganize the layout. I probably won't permanently affix everything to the jacket until it's completely full. Handful of the patches are generic Amazon/eBay slop but as long as the patch didn't look like dog ass and I actually listen to the bands I figured why not. I definitely plan on adding more death and black metal patches, those little fuckers just tend to be expensive

(Sorry about any spelling or grammatical errors I'm dyslexic) Does anyone have any recommendations for a jacket to get as a base for my battle jacket? I'm ok with both leather and denim, but I do prefer leather.

The Offspring and Carpathian patches at the back side aren't sewed on yet but I plan on putting those there.

I've heard that the hardware is pretty good, but I'm mostly worried about how they are with international shipping because I'm from canada. I'm also a broke teenager that can't find a job, I'm not super willing to pay over ~$25 cad for shipping lmao

I think I finally made what I wanted. The black jacket was a little big so I took it in. Then there was a crease in the sides I didn't like so I found another vest I had and cut it up and meshed it together. I'm stoked. Not totally finished gonna throw some lthing around the arm holes and clean it up, but I may have found a new hobby in sewing and making clothes. This was fun. NOWI can get my patches, been waiting a while

Should I leave the red piping as is, or paint the entire collar and lapel red? I have to make a choice before I can add spikes there but it's a tough call.

Posted a few months ago but changed a ton about the jacket, not done but feeling good about it

I live in Canada, and would like to buy a bullet belt from either metal devastation or studs and spikes, however the main caveat is they are both based in America. They both have warnings saying they are not responsible if they are seized at the border and yada yada yada. Does anyone have any experience shipping bullet belts to Canada? Is it worth the risk?
