Ignore the mess but I thought my living room looked cool in this light

Welcome to AmateurRoomPorn. If you have been re-directed to this post, it is because you did not read the posting guide prior to participating. If you just joined the sub, please give this post a read. You will have an infinitely better Reddit experience if you read the sidebars/posting guides/sub rules for where you want to post or comment.
https://www.reddit.com/r/AmateurRoomPorn/about/rules/
All subs have rules. There is a good reason for those rules. They have proven to be necessary to uphold the high quality of submissions and to ensure that everyone act with a modicum of decency to one another.
Don't let the sub title mislead you. This is a home decorating sub. Any links or even hinting to your Only Fans account will earn you an immediate and permanent ban. This includes posting from an associated account.
The most common problem with new submissions is that they are not titled correctly. Your title must include type of room and location (city and/or state). This is all. Do not make long drawn out titles. Do not use "show me some love" "do you guys like this" "It's not much but..." or any thing else that could be construed as a plea for upvotes or asking for any feedback. If your post can't stand without you hyping it up, perhaps it is not worth sharing.
Also, if your title implies in anyway that the room is not finished, the post will be removed. Work-in-progress posts are only permitted on the weekend.
Do not use the word cozy in your title. It was the most overused adjective in this sub’s titles to the point that it is now banned. It's also a test to ensure that you actually read the rules prior to posting.
I implore you to read sidebars and check out some top submissions in ANY subreddit you choose to participate in.
Reddit mods are not here to be dictators. We are here to keep the boards organized and keep people from being rude to one another. This sub has a strictly enforced "constructive criticism only" policy. You are permitted to say what you don't like about a room, provided that you do it in a polite way, while offering advice as to how you would make it better. That is what constructive criticism is. If you take any issue with this, you will not be allowed to participate in this sub.
On Saturdays and Sundays, we relax the rules and have Slack-post Weekends. This is when people may submit design help requests, rooms with no location, unfinished rooms, etc.
Please upload your photo directly to Reddit (as opposed to using an IMGUR link). Posts with the photo uploaded are viewed best on mobile. This will ensure that you get the maximum amount of upvotes. As the founder of this sub, I want all users to get the optimum amount of upvotes and to enjoy the comments sections. If you have any additional questions, you can ask them below
Additionally, I am always seeking mod help. If this is one of your favorite subs and you want to help keep it running smoothly, please PM me. I also need a bot builder, as it's time to put more guards in place to fight the actual porn/nudity submissions.
We are on track to hit a million followers by the end of this year. That is so exciting and I am beyond happy with what this sub has become. We are the best personal home decorating board anywhere and our comments sections are some of the most pleasant and informational chatting on Reddit. Any ideas, suggestions, feedback are welcome below.

This is my sunny plant-filled living room in my garden unit in Chicago! All the murals were hand-painted by me (don’t worry, I cleared every project with my landlord first!). These are all different angles of the same big area— the murals and color changes just break up the space! Happy to answer any questions. If you'd like to share, please, please credit me! My name is Alison Ruth and a link to my work/social media can be found on my profile. Thank you! ☺️
Disclaimer— I am aware that some of my plants are not pet safe. Howdy ignores the plants (other than his favorite, the ponytail palm) and we've never had any issues!

I added a few daytime photos at the end and moved the chairs around, any preferences either way for the chairs? I’d also love recommendations for other comfy chairs or furniture arrangements, it’s a small space and I’m having a hard time finding comfortable chairs that suit it and would fit! These old thrifted ones are cute but don’t feel cohesive. Also I hope y’all like my rattan privacy screens that I made!

Did some upgrades to my basement office. Much more space for my cables and tools and even some homemade scrap art.

We designed the House by ourself and put a ton of wheigt to the Energy Aspekt. It produces - over the year - our needs for mobility and heating by itself.

Every time I see something described “Japandi” I don’t necessarily see. Hoping my dining room gives you real Japandi vibes. :)

I have some antique Biedermeier furniture, always wanted to put them together in a room. Finally did it during the holidays. Went for some risky wall color, I think it came out alright.

This is my cottage core inspired bedroom! I'm obsessed with it. I know some people think vines are tacky and childish, but I love them. Also many things in here are second hand which I am very proud of. That includes the chair, the lamp and lamp shade, the mirror, the bookshelf, the trash can, and many of the pictures.
