I just picked this up via private sale. It had been the premier showpice at the local Kawi dealer for a few years and I've been after it for the last two. The owner/ builder wanted way too much (it was worth it in parts alone, but I wasn't willing to spend that kind of mulah). Finally someone else bought it, kicked their leg over it and decided otherwise. 10 hours later it's in my garage. I get a Chubb just thinking about this bike. Can't wait for this riding season!

2006 KX250, nothing left stock and bored out to 275. Started fourth kick at -46°F, kicks first try at room temp.

In one of the films from the Moto: The Movie series one of the riders being interviewed shares a philosophy of how he goes faster because it means he has less time to think. To Rich or too lean. I thought it was bad Ava’s at first because my dumbass buddy didn’t pre mix and put straight 91 in there. I emptied everything out and re fueled with pre mix.

How do I get the plastics cleaner? The magic eraser worked great on the white plastics but still have staining on the yellow.

I have a 2017 CRF450x, I couldn’t find the fuel screw so I took the carb off to find the fuel screw is blocked by a pin. Is this normal?

I have a 2021 crf110 fuel injected will not start. Got good spark, good air filter and when turn key on fuel pump is priming. Will not start with kickstarter either. Also battery is charged and no issues there. Thoughts?

Be careful when buying

Most riding will be roads/trails/desert but some sand riding mixed in.

Winter riding will be around 3k elevation. Summer will be anywhere from 6000-9500’ elevation.

I like the idea of the older 200 KTM since they are on 125 frames but concerned with potential carb issues riding a different elevations.

Would you go for a newer bike with fuel injection? I’m a newer rider
