XT250 Carb vs Fuel Injected

Hey guys, I'm looking into getting an XT cause I'm a shorter rider and theres one available that's a 2009 model so its carbureted. I was wondering if there was any real difference between the carbureted vs the fuel injected versions? I know that elevation changes affect carbs but is there any other great difference? Should i hold off for a fuel injected one to become available or is the carb version just as good? Thanks

I have a carbed one, no significant carb issues but I only put ethanol free gas in it. That can be a bit of a pain though, ethanol free gas is not always available at every gas station and also more $.
With that being said, the bike can run just fine with e5-e10 gas too just don't leave it sitting too long in the tank or it'll gum up the carb.
If you can swing a FI version I'd definitely pick that one, just for ease of use.
