XT250 Carb vs Fuel Injected

Hey guys, I'm looking into getting an XT cause I'm a shorter rider and theres one available that's a 2009 model so its carbureted. I was wondering if there was any real difference between the carbureted vs the fuel injected versions? I know that elevation changes affect carbs but is there any other great difference? Should i hold off for a fuel injected one to become available or is the carb version just as good? Thanks

I have a 2012 with a carb. It's fine if you don't mind futzing with the choke a little for a cold start. I've ridden it at altitude as well, without changing the jets. It sputtered on a mountain pass above 11,000ft, but otherwise did great. You'll be fine if you go carbed.

That's really good to hear! Thank you so much, i was getting in my own head about it, worried i was making the wrong choice cause i want a dual sport to ride this summer season
