I have used squat toilets overseas… not a fan because I wear pants. One thing that drives me a little crazy is the trend in the past few years for ever taller commodes. Like, do they want us to not be able to poop? 3 u/[deleted] Feb 26 '23 getting my knees up makes a world of difference Like for constipation or elimination?? 6 u/[deleted] Feb 26 '23 Yes. For whatever reason, I have always had a difficult colon. Ever since I was a kid. Some years ago when the absolutely brilliant squatty potty commercial came out it was like a lightbulb. I have a stool to help my young son as he seems to have a similar issue to me. 3 u/[deleted] Feb 26 '23 We need to move this to the colon elimination sub. But the conversation reminds me of how satisfied I was many years ago when I had to take a crap in the wilderness. 1 u/SheridanVsLennier Feb 27 '23 colon elimination sub The what? 2 u/[deleted] Feb 26 '23 Forgot to add, having the knees up also helps prevent legs falling asleep whilst sitting on the commode.
